Q: will this seal a puncture from a 16 penny nail

I am not sure but I doubt it. The sealant is more for leaky valves rather than punctures.

Q: Does this come with an applicator ?

No, it doesn't. I also purchased this along with an order of Ball Doctor. The Ball Doctor does have a reusable applicator (plastic) and 2 applications of ball sealant. Hope that helps!

Q: Can this be used to fix or prevent small leaks in inflatable furniture, such as airbeds or chairs?

I had a great experince with this product on basketballs. The goo was inserted into the ball and then the ball needed to be vigorously bounced for several minutes to ensure that the goo coated the entire bladder of the ball. The result was great for the several balls for which it was used. I doubt it would work on inflatable furniture as I don´t see how the goo would be able to cover the entirity of the piece since it would be difficult to vigorously bouce the furniture.

Q: will it work on footballs

It didn't work on any of the balls we tried it on (schoolyard rubber balls). Save your money.
