Q: Is it possible to connect a subwoofer to this?

Hello, Thank you for contacting Cambridge Audio. Yes an active subwoofer can be connected to the AXA35 via the record outputs, labeled "Rec Out" on the back of the AXA35. Please note that the record outputs will output a full signal at all times and are not affected by the AXA35's volume control.
