Q: I have the 72 set. How many of these portrait colors are in the 72 set? Is it worth getting this?

Thank you for contacting Newell Brands Office Products. There are 21 colors that are in both the portrait and the set that includes 72 pencils. The colors PC1018, PC1001,PC1019, PC1017 and PC1031 are not available in the 72 set. They would be missing from the 72 set but are included in the portrait set.Thanks,Newell Brands Office Products

It contains 24 colors, two of which are straight white and black, varying skin tones that would cover all ethnicities of skin tone.

Q: I have the 48 color set which I have not yet used. Can anyone tell me if the portrait colors are included in the 48 set?

Just a few are available in the 48 set; only the 132 and 150 sets include the portrait colors too. If you want to do portraits, this is a good addition to the 48, although those should be adequate without them.
