Faber-Castell Gelatos Colors Set, Iridescents - Water Soluble Pigment Crayons - 15 Iridescent Colors

Although quite expensive, these gelatos are brilliant at adding sparkle to watercolour projects. They are soft and creamy, rather like a lipstick in texture and can easily be rubbed in with a finger. I think that the will probably last for ages as only small amounts are needed to highlight sections of the painting.

Bought Gelatos on recommendation and although at first they took some getting used to - I love them. Very versatile and easy to use.

Amazing colour with a wonderful iridescent sheen. Two sponges and a brush are included in the pack. I have enjoyed using these gelatos in arts and crafts. My one complaint is the cost. They are expensive so not something you reach for straight away. That aside, they are really good to use. I would be interested to see how they match up against their competitors.

Fun product to add to your art supplies

Pretty much the same effect you can get with water colours. Perhaps I was expecting too much. I thought the colours would be really vibrant. They aren't. And for 30 quid for twelve they aren't cheap.

Lovely colours, but a little disappointed as they are supposed to be iridescent but didn't seem very irredecent.
