This is perfect and matches decor as well you honestly wouldn’t even know it was a Murphy Bed. Room for mattress, 4 pillows and sheet set when folded up. This is absolutely perfect. This is real wood not that cheap crap.*NOTE* Directions are not the best and holes aren’t pre- drilled in the drawer but it’s quite simple to mark the center and attach the wood cover. This Murphy bed takes a few hours to assemble but is well worth the price.

Arrived in 2 very heavy boxes and a couple of the pieces had some damage, but luckily nothing too vital (besides after opening everything, I had no interest in reboxing to return for two cosmetic issues).I built it alone, took around 4 hours, but def recommend it be a two person job. Everything went together fairly easily and instructions mostly clear and easy to follow. Once done, the piece looks very nice and saves a good deal of space. The mattress, while convenient, isn't super supportive and a little thin, so probably not suited for people over maybe 150lbs even though the bed is rated foruch heavier. For larger adult users, may need additional comfort available (roll up foam pad for example) but then you'd need to store it.Overall, only issues are minor and it gets a solid 4 stars. QC to prevent the damaged piece would have secured a 5th star!

Bed is fine and looks great. But do not purchase from this seller. Bed shipped with incomplete directions and a few missing parts. Made a request directly to the manufacturer’ company, the seller, and through Amazon to get complete instructions. Amazon could not assist but did offer to contact seller on our behalf. A week later I got a response from the company requesting my order number and would not provide directions without it, even after I’d already provided it in my original request along with the item number.. We had to guess several steps in putting it together, which was already a complicated endeavor if you have complete instructions. In spite of it all, we do like the bed.

This went together well and the instructions were adequate.You should have some experience putting this type of DYI furniture together.It really helps if you have clamps to hold the pieces together or they'll separate when you try to put the screws in. Either that or have a helper hold them together tightly. One thing didn't have the holes in the right place but it was an easy fix.They Included an extra piece in the parts bags for most of the parts.Overall we're impressed with the sturdiness of the bed.

We love the look and functionality of this piece of furniture. Although it was a challenge to put together everything necessary was included. Unfortunately, there was some damage to the finished of the top and side hinged pieces. The one on the top is the most noticeable. This is why I only gave it 3 stars.

This is a very nice bed! It took me a bit to put it together, but I just went step by step and it looks great, just make sure to have a power screw driver, and sleeps even better. The size more than accommodates me and my dog, we both have plenty of room. It suggests 2 people to put it together. I did it myself and it was not easy, but I got it done, it works great! Thank you!

Assembly was challenging but doable. I personally like this stuff. The only caveat I have is that the drawer slides could be more robust. I replaced one set with another set from the hardware store. The bed would work best on non-carpeted floors but still doable on carpet. Comfort is subjective. One guest liked it, another needed more cushioning. When pulled out, it's very low the the floor, so that's something to keep in mind.

I received part of the murphy bed on friday April 11th. After spending hours on the phone with customer service they finally agreed to return the bed due to it being incomplete. Yesterday April 14th I got the rest of the bed and put it together but many pieces are damaged due to who ever packaged it just through it on the truck and broke the facial boards for the drawers and cabinet. . I am stuck because I need it for guests that are coming. The bed is poor quality and not very sturdy. Not worth spending 1000 dollars on and terrible customer service they really didn't care
