There is a pleasant mild lemon scent.

Is the tallow from animal or plant sources? Are there any animal-derived ingredients?

The tallow is 100% coconut derived. The product is vegan.

Is this product septic safe?

Unfortunately it is not. The grit is not soluble. Over time it could clog a septic system. We make a 100% soluble version, which is septic safe, but it's not yet available on Amazon. We're hoping to release it soon. Call us for more info.

The soap is blended in Orange, NJ with ingredients sourced 100% in the United States
