How do you clean the liner ? Or do you throw the liner out?

The tarp liners are reusable and last up to 3 months, depending on how many cats use the litter box, how much litter is used, and how ferociously they scratch. The liners and box can be washed as needed with low fragrance soap and water. We recommend replacing the reusable liner when there are signs of fraying, tearing or excessive odor.

How many inches of litter do you put in this litter box?

I pour in 20 pounds of liter every 2 months. I clean it out on Wednesday and Saturday or Sunday. I have one cat. 20 pounds of litter fills the box approximately 1/4 full. I also use the liners. I purchased 3 of them when I got the box some years ago... about 5 years ago, I guess. I rotate the liners and wash them and reuse them. So, far they are all still good but just now showing a little sign of wear and tear. I hope this information helps. Both I and my cat love this litter box.
