Goodbest New Carburetor For YAMAHA TW200 TW 200 TRAILWAY 2001-2017

I used this to replace the card on a 2001 TW200 that was sitting for 8 years with fuel in the card bowl...*I believe this is an exact fit replacement, minus the idle control screw orientation (but the idle control works as designed)*The reason i say "believe" is because i did the replacement in outdoor conditions under 32 degrees, and could not fit the carb into the intake boot with the throttle linkage attached to the carb. since i had to remove the 1 nut and 2 screws to remove the linkage to get the carb in place, i simply attached the old carb's throttle linkage by using the 2 screws and 1 nut that i just took off. the only thing i had to fiddle with was getting the throttle return spring tight enough to return the throttle. (the old linkage had to be disconnected from the old carb in order to remove the old carb from the bike, so the linkage is hanging in place, ready to go when the new carb is in place)bike started up immediately, idled great, ran great, and will come back to the $30 carb compared to the $300 yamaha...

I have a 1988 California TW200 and it's always had some type of surge at wide open throttle and hard starting. I've tried jetting and even another factory carburetor with poor results. Since I've changed to this carburetor it starts extremely easy with no choke and runs well through all RPM ranges. A newer style intake and air box boot was required to adapt this to the old bike, and the throttle cables had to be moved to the other side, but it's well worth it for the improvements.

Worked perfect on 2016 tw200. Had to move the cable bracket. Idle speed adjustment didn't move, but not needed. Easier than fixing plugged Jets.

Put this in a 2004 tw200 , exact fit and runs perfect
