The other ceramic+ion brush gets tangled in my hair if I wrap it to much when I curling my hair. Is this one smooth and doesn't get caught in hair?

Yes. The ends of the bristles are roughly cut so they catch on my fine hair. I could only use this once and I am returning it. It pulled and broke my hair.

Is that needle can firmly install in the bottom?

Yes it stays in there really well
