Would these work good in a supercharged 04 mustang ?

No. You need a smaller gap like .032 - .035 depending how much boost you got. These are gapped at .059 which would take too much bending to gap it down. NGK says not to change gap more than .008. NGK TR6ix would work better with preset gap at .039

The NGK TR55IX plugs do not fit a 2002 Tahoe, 5.3l flexfuel. Must use the TR5IX. Too many places including parts stores are selling the wrong plug.

I don’t know why you think the TR55IX won’t work, just a slightly cooler plug than the TR5IX. In a lot of climates, it would probably help more than hurt.

What is the gap preset on this plug?

Hi, Set of 8 TR55IX NGK Iridium IX plugs Gap: 1.5mm Heat: "5" Seat: taper NOTE: these are very similar to TR5IX, the difference is: TR5IX have 1.0mm gap and TR55IX have 1.5mm gap. They are the same heat rating, length, etc. NOT SUITABLE FOR Ford TS50 with alloy heads. Hope this info will help you make a decision.

Are these "one piece" spark plugs unlike the three piece design that comes as oem 2005 f150 4.6l?

I installed these plugs in a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer 4.6 liter and they were one piece....easy to install ...make sure you use anti seize compound on the threads...and gap them properly to specs...the motorcraft plugs are prone for breaking off inside the vehicles because they get too hot and become brittle after awhile...and most people dont change them every 40-50,000 miles...definetely recommend the NGK's
