Is this a genuine Philips product backed by Philips India warranty?

Not genuine. (Only stamp of Phillips) No warranty. Doesn't kill any germs ( what I received was not even UVC - JUST VIOLET LIGHT.) SOMEONE did spectro analysis on the bulb they received and the wavelength was way off.

Will it attract insect

No Idea, I was received local product name mentioned Star Light and then asked for replacement and again in replacement i was received local product only so i have returned and taken refund

Can this be used separately and directly to kill germs in drainage water

No Dear...It is used in uv barrel of Ro Water Purifier only.

Can i directly put it in a water jug for water purification?
