As long as it is sealed, it can last for 2years without loss of original perfume. secondly under sealed condition when directly exposed to sunlight like keeping it near windows etc., it is likely that sunlight can penetrate may induce some changes. but quality of NIVEA such that it is definitely not noticeable. we bought bulk once about 10 bottle kept it in cupboard, for an year so it was as fresh as new. If it is under use with seal open the Roll on will carry skin sweat smells which may reduce its performance base on climate & no of usages in a day. So opened seal may last for 6 months . By then we would have bought bottle as get emptied. this is the reason why some time expiry date is not given and some times instrctiion to use within certain period.
