Not sure but I have a wide foot and mine fit fine

my husband has wide feet. Do you know if these would do?

They should. I have wide feet and they fit me well. Only issue is that when they're new they tickle the top of the feet.

What kind of material is it made out of?

Where the sole of your foot goes, it like a cloth material stretched over the rubber part. They are comfortable as hell lol. I wear them to physical therapy and pretty much getting away from wearing shoes now unless it rains.

Does the adjustable one use Velcro?

Yes, velcro, and they are very comfortable!
