If you order from Pure Health, it ships with an ice pack. Anything that is "fulfilled by Amazon" ships from their warehouse. Who knows how long it sits there, or in what temperature, before you receive it.

Does this contain magnesium stearate?

No, there is no magnesium in it. It contains probiotics, vegetarian capsule, & L-leucine. This helps me with IBS!

Is it normal that the capsules appear speckled?

Yes a light speckle of the contents. The capsule is clear.
