Hedge trimmer petrol-driven 25.4 cm³ with rotating handle, power 1.25 PK, blades 24" (60 cm)

This is my first and only petrol hedge trimmer so can't compare to others.the low review is partially because it didn't work out of the box and the hassle to get it replaced (which eventually I opted not to).When opened and followed the instructions the item did not ignite. Just to mention here that the user manual is not one of the clearest that I've seen with the photos not entirely matching the actual item.I contacted the reseller who said that I need to ship it back to him, they will inspect it and if they agree that it is faulty then they will refund me the item and the shipping cost.I felt intimidated by the possibility that they will conclude that the item is not faulty and also i needed a hedge trimmer immediately therefore I paid for a local gardener to look into it. He concluded that the plug is faulty, changed it and this solved the problem.Later on i found that he same reseller is selling this item on his website (under a different name) at a significantly lower price with fee shipping (on Amazon he charges shipping).So all in all - not the usual Amazon buying experience.

This starts well enough, cuts through quite thick stems and has a handy feature that allows the handle to be rotated for vertical cutting. As a two-stroke it is a bit noisy, but not as bad as my brush-cutter. And it is quite heavy for long use, or maybe I am just a wimp. This is a heavy duty bit of kit, probably rather better than I need for my garden, but I have already had a neighbour asking if he could borrow it!

Better than I expected for the price. Looks like a generic machine offered in slightly different guises by several retailers, but this was the best price I found. Starts OK if you get the combination of cold/hot engine, weather conditions, choke just right like most engines of this size and application. Will cut branches up to 12mm or so, but not easily and you need full throttle to do it. Better to saw them off with the end of the blades than trying to chop them. Anything around 8mm or less is easily dealt with. I bought a 2 stroke mixing bottle but to be honest, I think the supplied bottle is adequate. This is the first time I've used a tool like this one, so I have nothing to compare it with, but it seems reasonable to me. I will just have to see how long it lasts.

Whilst I was initially impressed with this trimmer, it broke after just a few hours of use. The rotating handle mechanism dislocated and couldn't be pushed back in. Potentially dangerous in my opinion since the trimmer dropped a few inches when it happened. Also, the throttle seemed irregular and kept over-revving. Pretty sure the petrol/oil mix was correct and that I was operating it correctly. Not sure what the problem was but ended up returning it for a refund.

Arrived quickly from Timberpro and was well parceled with all of the bits as promised. Tried it for the first time today on our large privet hedges. Started very well (three or four pulls the first time) and quickly settled into a nice tickover. The rotating handle worked really well and made the job much more comfortable than it would otherwise have been. Went through the privet like a hot knife through butter, as you would expect with brand-new, sharp blades. Very little vibration, thanks to the damping system the tool has. Noisy though. Suggest ear defenders are essential for any more than very short periods. The weight is noticable compared with my electric trimmers, but it is well balanced and I expect I'll toughen up with a bit of use. I would rate myself quite high on the weakling scale, so someone younger and fitter should have no problem. Overall, very please with the purchase and would recommend.

As others have said this is a heavy machine but it tackles my yew hedge (50 meters) and my box hedges (150 meters) extremely well. When I first used the machine I found it was cutting out when I used it on vertical faces, but then I realised that the body of the machine and the blade can be twisted independently through 90 degrees in either direction allowing the body of the machine and hence the petrol tank to remain in an upright position when trimming vertical sides....problem solved ......and maybe I could have read the instructions!

Well I thought about this item,do I purchase or not,well my negative thoughts proved me wrong,bigger than what I expected. This is the best buy ever,it's great hedge trimmed In time at all. I would seriously recommend this product to any gardener,its great however a bit heavy, but its soley dependant how high and long the hedge is but never the less great product and great price.You need a hedge trimmer this is the company to purchase from. This hedge trimmer was great value, delivered swiftly and without hassle and performs superbly. Our privet hedges look immaculate as does the beech hedge.Thoroughly recommend this tool, although those who are not too strong may find it a little on the heavy side after a while.

Ottimo prodotto, è la prima volta che uso un tagliasiepi e dalle recensioni ho deciso di acquistare questo per la convenieza qualità prezzo. Personalmente mi sento di confermarla, è molto potente e riesce a tagliare anche il corpo della siepe che è abbastanza spesso, unica nota che mi sento di citare è il peso, personalemnte lo trovo un po pesante dopo un oretta circa di lavoro le braccia chiedono pietà, ma non conoscendo ne avendo mai provato altri attrezzi del genere non so se in confronto al altri magari il peso è anche normale. Consigliato, fa il suo dovere e lo fa bene.

Usato stamattina per circa 2 ore su una siepe di lauroceraso, che dire; mi aspettavo di peggio, sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso. Comprato in sostituzione al mio vecchio tagliasiepe Alpina HT55 che mi ha abbandonato, preso con tanti punti interrogativi, arrivato in 5 giorni lavorativi dal Belgio (Super Venditore!!) subito sballato, fatto pieno di miscela e acceso per provarlo; avviato in fretta e il motore girava senza problemi, il banco di prova stamattina, una siepe di lauroceraso alta 2mt e lunga 30mt, tagliata tutta in un paio d'ore circa, senza nessun tipo di sforzo del motore, nessun fuori giro, con un taglio molto netto e pulito. Il serbatoio si è svuotato dopo circa un ora di lavoro (più che dignitosi quindi i consumi), poi ho notato una cosa che mi ha fatto molto piacere, la marmitta per lo scarico dei fumi del motore posta sotto la lama in direzione della lama stessa, a differenza del mio defunto Alpina che portava la marmitta di fianco al serbatoio rivolta verso l'acceleratore, quindi lo scarico dei fumi finiva in faccia all'operatore e dopo un paio d'ore d'uso per i tagli in sommità delle siepi quindi altezza volto, gli occhi rossi erano assicurati. Ritornando allo scarico dei fumi forse quelli sono più accentuati in questo che nell'altro tagliasiepe, ma questa è anche "colpa mia" che preferisco una miscela più grassa (al 3% e non al 2%) perchè lo uso spesso e lo stresso molto quindi preferisco che abbia una percentuale d'olio maggiore, per il resto fino ad ora non posso che dire di essere soddisfatto della macchina e consiglierei l'acquisto senza timore

Acquistato in società col vicini di casa,addebito si cercava tagliasiepe robusto e potente. Lo è: affronta bene anche piantine legnose tipo Footinia. Non é leggerissimo e stando a sbalzo a lavorare dopo un po' le braccia ne risentono. Difficoltosa anche la carburazione ma il costo abbordabile a fronte della sua Potenza fa passare in secondo piano questi due piccoli difetti.

Insgesamt muss man sagen dass das Preis-Leistungverhältnis völlig in Ordnung ist. Andere Hersteller, auch namhafte, bieten zwar eine deutliche höhere Qualität durch die Verwendung von hochwertigeren Plastik- und Metallbauteilen, jedoch ist diese Heckenschere ihr Geld wert.Der einzige Schwachpunkt ist der Griff und die Halterung dieses am Gerät. Zwar kann man den Griff jeweils um 90° nach links oder rechts drehen, aber wenn man mit dem Gerät arbeitet siehht man das Spiel dort.Ich habe die Heckenschere jetzt fast 6 Wochen und habe sehr viel mit ihr gearbeitet. Ich bin vollkommen zufrieden, zumal ich mir dieses als Einsteigermodell ausgesucht habe um Erfahrungen mit der Handhabung zu sammeln, eine Heckenschere mit Kabel war mir zu umständlich, eine Akku hat nicht genug Reichweite und Power.Die Kraft, das Handling und die Reichweite überzeugen bei diesem Gerät.Wer also ein Einsteigergerät mit fairem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sucht ist bei diesem genau richtig.

Si mette in moto al primo colpo e funziona sempre...ottimo poter modificare la presa a seconda della lavorazione...Taglia anche rami un pò grossi...Un pò pesante..

il tagliasiepi è arrivato nei tempi prescritti buono l' imballaggio. L' ho subito provato è partito dopo un paio di colpi funziona benissimoottimo acquisto

La prima impressione è relativamente positiva. Pronta e semplice la messa in moto ma non mi sembra perfettamente a posto la carburazione per cui è difficile valutare se la potenza è sufficiente al taglio indicato nelle caratteristiche . Buona la maneggevolezza.

Tagliasiepi funzionante ma mi chiedo... se dovessi avere problemi come faccio con la garanzia???Spero di non averne bisogno nel futuro

Tempi di arrivo perfetti.Prodotto buono, ma mio marito dici che si trovava meglio col taglia siepi precedente perché più leggero e maneggevole di questo. ...facendo conto che si deve tagliare 250 metri di siepe....ecco nn è del tutto soddisfatto.

Venditore affidabilissimo, oggetto rispecchia il valore, un po' pesante, consigliato per lavori in giardino di medie dimensioni. Taglia anche rami spessi! soddisfatto dell'acquisto. Lo consiglio!

ho ricevuto il pacco nei tempi prestabiliti. ho subito collaudato e si e' messo in moto molto facilmente. ha un buon taglio e funziona molto bene. unico difetto , il peso eccessivo. dopo mezz'ora di lavoro le mie braccia erano stanchissime.

Arrivato prima del previsto. Incredibile l'accensione parte al primo o massimo al secondo strappo. Consuma pochissimo e fa degnamente il suo lavoro. Consigliatissimo anche per il costo davvero conveniente.
