MILTON Euroline Slimtron Electric Tiffin, Blue

I bought this for 579/- during the Diwali sale ( SELLER – INDIA SALES CORP). The package had a huge crack on the outer plastic case . I doubt if it happened in transit as there were sufficient air bags in the packing. Anyways since it was an Amazon fulfilled product hence I got the replacement hassle free. This rating is for the product and not the seller. So the following are my observations:Pros:- Biggest plus is one can have a hot lunch. Heates up in about 15-20 mins and have a steaming hot lunch if heated to about 30-35 mins.- There is a LED notification (Refer to the pic). There is an auto cut off after 45 mins.- Leak proof steel containers with plastic lids hence one can carry some gravy too.- There are 4 colors in this range and all look good (Refer to the picture). I found blue to be the best.- The outer body is shock proof. (Haven't tried to touch the inner steel tiffin while powered!!)- Power cord is detachable.Cons:- Though minor cons but worth pointing out. The inner tiffin’s are not huge (About 4” in diameter x 2” height). So a heavy lunch is out of cards.- There is no space to keep spoons. Also power cord cannot be stored in the tiffin.- The whole tiffin even when empty also feels a bit heavy but manageable.VERDICT – Overall a good product and something innovative from a reputed brand.

What the package contains?A plastic casing, which also acts as the heating base and has its own lid, a detachable power cord and two steel containers (dabbas) with a plastic lid each.How it works?You put the food in steel containers with lid on, then put them in recesses in the plastic casing, and cover it with the casing's lid, and then turn on the power with cord attached. Heating takes typically 20-30 min depending on the original temperature of the food and how tightly it's packed.*Good parts*1. Most of the time food feels as good as fresh!2. Lids of the steel containers are of very good quality and tightly fitting, so there's no risk of spilling of liquid contents.3. Entire assembly is detachable, so I carry only the steel containers and not the outer casing, which is kept at my workplace along with the power cord.4. The plastic heating base does not get excessively hot.5. Heating is slow. I know most users have considered it a negative point, but I consider it a positive because it's alright to forget that the food is heating!*Bad parts*1. There should've been more color options.2. Heating is not very uniform. Food at the bottom heats more.3. Crevices in the circumference of plastic lids are difficult to clean - unavoidable side effect of their tight fitting nature.4. Some kind of alarm / auto power off feature would've been good.All in all, I'm very satisfied with the purchase, and would recommend it to anyone. 😊

Very slow heating. Even after 20mins of heating , food is not warm enough to eat. Don't Waste your money

Found the product very very useful. It has been 8 months since i purchased it and still it works pretty well.. Although i doubt if it has a thermostat that cuts the power in case of overheating. 1 star deducted due to leaking inside containers, they actually started leaking and you can see the oil flowing through them. Another thing which should be taken care is, it is tough to clean, as you can not wash it ! There should be a detachable surface that could be cleaned and put back. Although it works very well& you get a good hot food in 45 min, 60 min in case you have a liquid sabji. Again A reliable product from a reliable brand !

Product is good has a 40W heating unit inside which takes quite a good amount of time (45min) to heat the food. I am yet to see the auto cutoff work.The bad part is how the supplied cable is packed. The way the 2 pin plug and the 2 pin female adapter is twisted to fit into the preformed cable case ...I highly doubt how long it will last as the inner copper will already be fatigued.Milton immediately remove the preformed cable management case and maybe up the wattage to 80 watt

The product is good but there is one problem, when we keep hot things in the containers and close the lid , the lid does not tights properly which leads to spill of the food. Other than that, it is a good product but could have been better if they would have provide a spoon case. Food gets hot within 30 mins of plug in. Easy to carry, sleek, good quality. Enough for one person if he is not choosy. Two items can be taken to fill your stomach to get rid of the hunger for 2 hrs. After that need to take snacks to compensate your hunger. GOOD PRODUCT, RECOMMENDED TO BUY.

Excellent - works exactly as described. While it takes 25-30 mins for the food to become steaming hot... it warms up right in 10-15 mins for me.The lunch box is slim and easy to carry. however, I would still prefer carrying the steel containers separately everyday and leave the lunch box at work. I guess this is the general trend among most of the users of Slimtron.holds right quantity of food for me.... the containers are about 4" inch in diameter and 1.75" inch in height each. Thought this might help as I was wondering how much food these can fit before ordering as few of the reviews said that the quantity of food that can be carried is not much.a good buy in all just go for it until unless you have a big heavy lunch everyday - the boxes might will be a little smaller in that case.

Esta bien en apariencia ya que me ha llegado hoy y no he podido comprobarlo ya que me a venido rajado por un lateral y la caja golpeada, tambien habia comprado el naranja y me a llegado el de color azul y verde. ya he solicitado la devolucion.Me han gestionado la devolucion correctamente.
