Chard germinates well when properly prepped
I waited until cool weather to grow these and prepared the soil with compost. I ground up the seeds lightly in a mortar because they are compound seeds that need separation. I kept the plot moist all the time with dishwater. The germination rate is great! I look forward to colorful and delicious greens in the next few weeks! Thanks!

Will not germinate
However we try it will not germinate and also some other company seeds came. Bad

Good deal ...must buy
You will get Only red and white.....not yellow and orange.... quality is good.... packing is good...After a good harvest I recommend to buy these seeds they are very good....max germination....yield is great.....but yellow chard is missing...

Keep us fed till rainy season.
Excellent germination rate. Tried both direct sowing as we as transplantation from seedlings. Super success. It was disease free and leaves were huge and sweeter than spinach. Our whole family and neighbors enjoyed it.

About 50%germination
I think I got about 50% germination but what ever came out was of very good quality . However the seeds are quiet expensive .
