I was disappointed because when I used it it was hard to clip on can and when I tried straining tuna I got the oil all over my hands

I bought this product to replace an exact same one, which I'd owned for more than 10 years, and I only replaced it because it had become discoloured with time, so when I saw this one, I was happy to order it I can't remember what I paid for the original, but the price seemed ok as well, hopefully this one will last as long as the old one .

Does the job but haven’t been able to fit it to any can.

Typical diameter cans sold in Britain ( soup. beans,etc ) do marry up with the particular sizing ring on this for them to fit but will not clip ( or 'snap' ) on, even when you try to force the cans on when empty. So forget about things clipping on........they just don't do it. Next.....when you invert a can to drain liquids out of it through the strainer the liquid doesn't pour out as you'd hope but spreads out to drip out throughout the full diameter of the concave side of the dome of the strainer to cause more mess than if not used at all. It is truly useless, a gimmicky piece of nonsense that possesses not one redeeming feature in regard to what it is being marketed for. I was obliged to award it one star just to qualify my review as being completed.Eamonn
