By the age of 14, Sarto was working in a shoe factory where his job was to hand-last shoes with a hammer and nails. He designs his shoes both with the sweat and blood of a technician and the grace and beauty of a world-renowned fashion designer. To this day, Sarto hand sketches many of his designs. I love the look of them
These shoes are really cute, but they were so uncomfortable to me. The strap that goes between your toes is just too wide. I wore them around the house for about 15 minutes thinking I would get used to it, but I never did. It just got more uncomfortable. There is no way I could wear these all day without experiencing discomfort and developing blisters. I love the look of them, but sadly they are going back. It looks like I'm the only one that has complained about this, though, so if you have "tough" feet that aren't really sensitive to toe straps, then maybe you won't have a problem with them.

Cute, a little loose
I was a little surprised to see comments about the over strap being too tight, because mine was a little loose. I usually wear a size 6, and that's what I ordered. They fit fine, but if they stretch at all I'll wish I had ordered a 5.5. These are way more comfortable than some other sandals in this style, I think I could walk around all day in them without any problems.

Cute sandals, but a just a bit smaller than I expected. I should have gone up 1/2 size. They offer support but the top strap is a little loose so I feel like they flop around a little - more like a flip flop. Which isn't horrible, but not what I was expecting. Overall, I needed a black go-to sandal and these satisfy that just fine.

This is the BEST sandal ever
This is the BEST sandal ever. So comfortable and nice looking. Can never go wrong with Franco Sarto shoes. A must have.

Poor stitching!
Poor stitching on one of the shoes. Need to take it to have it resewn and haven't even had the sandals for a couple of months. Very disappointed- they are very comfortable, but this should not have happened.

Great shoe for someone elses foot
Nice shoes, but made for someone with a thicker foot than I have. The band across the instep was too long. It also runs a little long, but the main thing is the strap. Very cute too, but they have to go back. :(

In love! These are my babies. I love them. They are perfect. So comfortable and beautiful. Can't beat that. Seller is amazing. will buy more especially Franco Sarto. They are the best shoe. Worth every penny!!

Great summer sandals
Not quite as good arch support as wanted because they are flat sandals but they are extremely comfortable to wear all and as stylish as they should be. They are also great because they are of well-made leather.
