Recommend!
Sad I didn't buy this sooner! I waited until it went on sale and am so thrilled with this study! Some days have shorter readings and others are longer, but all are comparable. It has an old testament, poetry, and new testament passage along with a reflection for every day. The reflections tie the readings together nicely. They restructured the book to say "Day 5", for example, instead of "January 5" so you can start at any point. Dates are still written at the top of the page, but I keep track on my own piece of paper calendar so it's not an issue. Really enjoy this book and recommend it!

Buy it!
Such a wonderful Bible! I love that all you have to do is pick it up and just follow the dates. The reflection section is great to really think about the readings and how it applies to your own life.

Good breakdown
With this you do not read the Bible in order but it’s very helpful to break it down

love the format looking forward to reading this year
I received the book with the cover and the first few pages bent at the corner. Okay, that was probably shipping damage, although the shipping was a plastic wrap of the book. BUT, the last two pages are creased top to bottom, which I believe was manufacturing, and no one inspected the book before sending it to a customer. I would ask for a replacement as this book is a lifetime purchase, not just a coffee table tomb. But I want to start the reading and it isn't damaged as far as I cannot use it. Just be aware that the $20 saved in not buying the leather-bound bible, may or may not be a deal. I bought a leather one which I gave away. It came intact. It was a gift. The printing maybe smaller in the paperback also.

Wonderful way to read the Bible
Each page gives the reader a passage from the Old Testament, Psalms, and one from the New Testament. It makes the Bible easy to read, and the daily passages are followed by a reflection on the readings. More often than not, they clarify and explain more clearly what was read. Reading approximately four pages a day guarantees that you will have read the entire Bible in one year. It's such a nice way to get to know the Bible. I'm on my second time around and am enjoying it just as much as the first time...and actually getting more out of it this time because it's more familiar and I'm understanding it so much better.
