Excellent quality and price
This is the first time we have bought our own underlay as we usually just get whatever the carpet shop recommends. A friend suggested rubber crumb - and when researching I found this.We have a Victorian house with old draughty floor boards. This has made a positive difference.Would definitely buy again.

It decreases the thumping and banging but not enough.
This really wont compare with pulling the floor up and doing a proper job of sound insulation.It does decrease the noise of the cats chasing each other and footsteps etc, though we still have to be considerate with media volume levels though less so.The best thing is how soft and lovely the floor is now, its so lux! I did get a decent carpet (not that expensive) but it feels so lovely under bare feet now, truly sensuous.
