After digging my 25yr old pair of QC3's out for a 14hr flight, I discovered the ear pads perishing, and the headband sticky & horrible.Five minutes on Amazon & I found these beauties. Read the reviews, watched the video, ordered on Prime & They arrived next day! Simple instructions to follow for the earpad replacement, then the You tube video to show how to replace the headband. Fiddly little screws, but the driver that came with the kit was fine.Good advice about a towel under your workspot to catch the screws...they really are tiny!Cut off the old headband as per the video, then fitting the new one was easy.Now the proud owner of a fully rejuvenated pair of Bose headphones. Luxury!Brilliant product, great price, terrific instructions, good Comms from the seller...and a personal thanks for supporting a small business.What's not to like?

Fantastic product! I think I've had my Bose QuietComfort 3 headphones for about 15 years. Still worked fine, but the soft earpads and headband had deteriorated considerably. They were sticky and shredding pieces. Thought about throwing them away and getting new ones. So glad I didn't. Ordered these AHG replacements which were delivered quickly. Ear pads were very straightforward to fix. Headband was also OK but the Bose screws are tiny. The supplied screwdriver was perfect though. Well worth watching the YouTube video instructions for how to fit them. This is accessed from a QR code on the supplied instructions. I now feel my QC3 headphones are better than new. Look at the photo. Well done to AHG. So satisfying to restore something rather than replace.

Read the various reviews on this and decided to buy. They have done the job perfectly. Ear pads simple.Headband fiddly yes - but following the instructions on Youtube made it clear. Its only fiddly because the Bose screws are tiny so just take your time to fit everything and it all works fine - clear as the always were and a good fit.

Work perfectly and restored my Bose headphones to their original brilliance on long haul flight. So easy to fit good instruction. bonus with head pad replacement but didn't need to fit that. I have for later though.

Very good, a bit tricky to fit the headband the ear pads were very easy. Their video is very helpful. I came to the conclusion that the headband may be 1mm too long but with effort I got it all fitted. It all looks better than new which is excellent.

Very pleased with the quality of the pads and headband. The delivery service exceeded my expectations too, delivery was two days early. The installation of the ear cups was simple, the headband a little more difficult, not due to the replacement design, but because the Bose securing screws are tiny. The kit includes a little screwdriver which fits the tiny screws, and there’s an instruction video accesssd via a QR code in the box. I highly recommend watching the entire video befor trying to fit the replacement headband. I recommend this product.

To resurrect my Bose headphones!

Thanks to AHG there is now new life in my old Bose QC3 headphones! Having just replaced the worn out cable I've now done the same for the ear pads and headband, the leatherette surfaces of which had worn down completely leaving a dirty and sticky sort of residue. Extended periods of use were even starting to 'tire' my ears, so thin was the cushioning on the ear pads. They now look (and feel) like a completely new pair of headphones.There are some differences with the new headband which is bulkier with horn-like mounts but the ear pads look exactly the same. I fancy the sound quality is enhanced by this make-over but it's perhaps too early to tell.AHG provide a link to a couple of useful Youtube videos explaining exactly how you fit the new parts. The ear pads are a doddle but the headband is a bit fiddly. A small screwdriver and even a paper clip is included with the parts to make things easier; if you follow the videos closely you'll have no problem but do allow time to do so carefully.I never thought it possible to save these headphones which I must have had for over a decade now. The aesthetic compromise of this make-over notwithstanding, they now have a new lease of life and I don't have to fork out significant amounts for a band new pair just yet.
