Beginners Pottery Wheel Kit for Kids with Clay, Paints, and Tools 12 L x 16 W x 5 H

I bought this pottery wheel for my 10 year old granddaughter. She was very excited when we opened the package for Christmas. However, as I was opening the box I noticed that it had been taped shut and was damaged. When we too the wheel out it had clay dust on it and clearly had been used. We had to sent it back. I have used Hearth Song for years for my grand kids Usually I am happy so this was a big disappointment.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas 2015. Total piece of junk. Super flimsy, and it didn't even work. We tried plugging it in, nope nothing worked. Tried putting in the 8 (yes 8 "C" battereies!!!) Nope..nada...no action. I am so tired of paying good money for chinese made pieces of junk! HearthSong usually has good products, I am surprised they are selling this. It's so irritating to purchase something, have your child be so excited about using it and then...disappointment. Do not purchase this, maybe we got a bad one...maybe not, I don't know.

I purchased this wheel as a present for my eight-year-old daughter. It turns out that the motor is not strong enough to turn the table when even a very small amount of soft clay is experiencing pressure from her hands. Not enough power or torque. The result is that neither my daughter nor I was able to shape the clay using the Heartsong wheel. What a waste of $80!

My product arrived in a box that was almost destroyed.... definitely not new even though I purchased a brand new item ( Christmas gift) too late to return as I needed to gift item that evening.... poor condition, not user friendly, I was greatly disappointed.

Waste of $$, the motor on this thing is too week and cheap to allow you to center your clay let alone do any good pulls. Not even fun for kids, just frustrating for everyone. Would return it if possible.

This is one of the few products that I did research on an expected to be great but was sorely disappointed. I returned this and was not interested in getting another one. This is not a quality pottery wheel. It is a toy that does not work well at the best of times. It was very difficult to make a small lopsided bowl following all directions. I needed to be there hands on to help my six-year-old make his pot. I felt that there was a fair amount of false advertising and that the motor was not very strong even when plugged in.I would not recommend this to anybody.

Supper slow wheel not what I was expecting. If it was made for little kids, it’s too messy and for older kids is too slow. To get this type of toy I would just buy the cheap one in the store.

My two sons love theirs and they love they can make stuff at home instead of going to the shop. Another thing is it come with air dry clay no baking required.
