Quicken Home & Business 2019 Personal Finance & Budgeting Software [PC Disc] 1-Year Membership + 2 Bonus Months [Amazon Exclusive]

The cost of using Quicken software has exploded since they went to the annual subscription. I used to use the software for 2-3 years before justifying purchasing an updated version. I just renewed for another year at $99.99 at the Quicken site. I can't afford to have problems with software I use everyday.I can understand Microsoft 365 as that software is a decent value because Microsoft supports the platform continuously.This may be the last year.So few improvements from year to year and the software still crashes for no apparent reason from time to time.I have been using Quicken since the beginning of time.

This product has deteriorated considerably since the 2015 version. I was having trouble with my 2016 version so decided to update and see if the 2019 was as good as advertised, unfortunately it was not. It loaded and opened and I transferred my 2016 data okay, but then it started crashing every time I tried using the "investments" feature to display my securities. After I downloaded an update it wouldn't open at all and all I get is :program closed report to Microsoft" now. Really poor performance for a user since 1990.

I was thinking of upgrading but not after I saw they only offer a subscription. I’ll hold onto what I have until it crashes. I won’t be using Quicken after that.

I bought an UPDATE in 2018. No mention of it being a subscription.If you buy this, which I will be cause I'm now locked in and to far gone, it is only a subscription.

Upgraded my Quicken Home & Business product from 2016 version. Looks like a significant number of improvements on both the business and personal offerings. Have already taken advantage of the some the changes made to both offerings- including the improved connection to my banks. Has helped run my business since I started.The additional months from the Amazon product are a plus. Appreciate that updates/improvement will continue to be implemented during the next 14 months of the membership.

Tried to use this product on two PCs via the cloud/web sync feature. WHAT A DISASTER! Second PC reported numerous errors concerning transactions that were in fact present on the other PC. And what was sync to the original PC was corrupted to such a degree I needed to restore from a backup file and reconstruct missing transactions.Continued to have sync issues even with limiting sync to ONE account. It's too bad that I have such a long history of transactions in Quicken or I would be 'out of here in a heart beat.'DO NOT BUY

I have been a quicken user since the 1990's. With each release there are good things and some things that are troublesome. Thus far, this version doesn't seem to have much more than the 2017 version, except it is a subscription service now (which I don't care for). I have seen lots of negative reviews about this, but I think that a great deal of them must be user error, because I don't seem to have any issues with this version.I have never been impressed with the customer support, and that is the biggest reason that I didn't give it very high stars. I feel like if there is a problem, you should be able to get help other than going to the quicken community. But overall, I do like the program.

Purchased Home and Business 2019 version in hopes to track all my personal and business expenses in one program. I wasn't sure how complex it was going to be to upgrade but it went smooth with no problem! Works great to track my business expenses especially with taxes coming up soon. I like receiving the auto-updates, well worth the money!
