At the local walmart these same stick was 12 dollars, a bit much for a wooden yard stick the from the orgin label cost maybe 2 us dollars to make. I ordered this for my sister that even thought she had to wait was well worth it for a well priced yard stick for her sewing craft. Due to foam or other materials she didnt want a metal yard stick has that can if not smoothed edged can couse tearing and with wood this is less likely.

This yardstick IS in fact a yard long. It is sturdy enough for the price you pay and get's the job done...unless you need to measure something larger than a yard, then I would recommend something bigger. This was perfect for measuring my nephew. PLEASE NOTE: spherical items are not easy to measure with this yardstick as it is wooden and is not very flexible.

I DID NOT LIKE THE PRICE FOR ONE (1) YARD STICK, I tHOUGHT I PURCHASED 12 OF THEM , WHICH WAS NOT THE CASE. LESSON LEARNED!!

I bought this ruler specifically for an art project and it worked out great for that. it functions as a ruler should but the only complaint I have is the quality. the edges aren't as smoothed out as they should be. if handled roughly I feel like I could easily get a splinter. I smoothed it out as best as I could with just a small plastic ruler (which isn't good btw)overall functionality wise...it's good. but the quality isn't great. I'll still be using it however!

This item is very sturdy and accurate. I haven’t missed a single victim in my violent sword-like swinging fits with my new wooden weapon. Has some strange markings up and down the sides that look like measurements. It’s probably so my enemies can see how long my whacking stock is.

This bring back childhood memories of my old teachers. A Must buy if your Home schooling. I have a lot of learning poster and this came in handy. My kids thought it was cool to play with and broke it smh so I’m buying another one lol

It's a bargain for the price, especially with the metal tips and a hole for hanging it on the wall.Great price, especially with the metal tips and hole for hanging on the way. A much-needed addition to my craft and sewing supplies so I don't have to go digging around the tool shed for a yard stick or tape measure. Still using my ruler till now, never broke and I must commend its durability.

Just what I needed.

This item is just okay. My lack of enthusiasm comes from the fact that it arrived looking like something from a discount sale bin. The wood has a dark imperfection streaking down one side. Fine. More bothersome is the cracking that also runs down about a foot of the surface. Fortunately, it isn't too deep. Also, why cover a wooden item with stickers that leave it covered in glue no matter how carefully you try to remove them? What a pain.Other than that, it appears to be fairly straight. I haven't had a chance to judge the quality of the edge yet, and if thats a problem, I'll edit this review later.

Arrived in two pieces ! Clearly broken deliberately by a packer to fit ins small bag .Fully refunded.

The edges are full of splinters. The wood is flimsy and likely to break. The wood is also totally untreated so the measurement markings rub off easily. Serious doubts this is actually a Dritz product
