Unlike most of the fuses available for older German vehicles, these hold to the original design, with a ceramic insulator and copper conductor.It's not as much an issue for the 8 amp fuse, but the higher values can and do soften and deform with heating from the current draw, leading to shorted circuits with the adjacent fuse positions.Great to find these available in smaller quantities, and to have spares for my old Porsche!
