All the tools required to assemble this seat come in the package. You may need to remove your seat to attach the child seat to the bike. Tools for that are not included.

Would it work for a almost 3 yr old child or is it too small and outof weight/age limits. If not what else is an option for a 3 yr old?

The recommend age for this child carrier is at least 12 months old with a maximum weight of 40 lbs. Thanks
