Seems to work well for ham radio wire antenna construction purposes
I bought this wire to build an end-fed half-wave antenna for ham radio purposes. Mine arrived in good shape, and at least the first 67 feet or so pulled off in one piece. I constructed an EFHW antenna for 40/20 meters and it's worked well for me so far. I've deployed it twice so far as seen in the photos. While in use, this wire is suspended in the air from both ends and has no problem supporting its own weight. I've been deploying it in a "sloper" configuration with one end higher in the air (either supported from a tree or from a portable mast) and the other side lower to the ground. I'm able to wind it up on "winder" in a figure-8 pattern to avoid twisting and kinking it. Thus wrapped, it comes off easily the next time I need to deploy it.Seems like a good deal for the price. Next up, I'm going to do one for the 80 meter band (thus, about 40-meter/135 feet in length.) This one will be in an inverted "V" configuration, supported in the middle and sloping down on both sides; this ought to be more or less the same load on the wire as this first version that I've built with this wire. It's unknown how much this will stretch or sag over time; if it does lengthen any, I can trim a bit off the ends to get it back into tune. We'll see how that works out over the long run. Still, for the price, I can treat this as a consumable if it needs to be replaced very few years?

Perfect choice for grounding dust collection ductwork
I just installed about 120 feet of 4-inch PVC sewer pipe in my home wood working shop for dust collection. While I don't really fear a theoretical explosion from static electricity build-up, I wanted to keep the exterior of the pipes relatively clean, In addition, I didn't want to get "shocked" by the static electricity that tends to get stored in PVC pipe when air and sawdust run through it for long periods of time. So I found this on Amazon and was pleased with the price (compared to big box home improvement stores).Unlike other reviews, the spool of wire was intact and not damaged. (I actually had to order a second roll when the first ran out, and that one also arrived in perfect condition.) The wire is supposed to be braided according to the description, which I think it is, although it is hard to tell at this small 18-gauge caliber. It worked out perfectly by wrapping the wire around all my PVC pipes and fittings and then grounding it.No complaints. I would recommend this to anyone needing to ground something like a sawdust collection system.

Handle with care, or get a tangled mess.
The wire was fine,, easy to work with. But the plastic spool was broken on both ends allowing the wire to spool off if you weren’t careful.

Works well for grounding dust collector system
I wasn't sure if this gauge wire would be too small for my dust collection system, but it works fine. I used 4" PVC pipe and ran this from point to point through the entire system, grounding it to the dust collector chassis. This product is a better value than buying a grounding system specifically for dust collectors. And I only used about half of the spool. Just drill holes at the Wyes and Tees to connect branches, connect the ends with wire nuts, fill the holes with caulk (so you don't lose suction) and it's done. You will need to install the wire as you build the ductwork since it's hard to run the wires once you glue the PVC. This is plenty strong to handle dust particles flying past it, especially if you pull it somewhat tight.

Ask the seller to bubble wrap the spool...
The quality of the wire is outstanding but my spool ends were shattered (most likely during shipping, especially in the cold weather), so I ended up with a bag of wire.

nice antenna wire for SWL
Arrived ok in spite of envelope only packaging. Using for end fed SWL antenna running over 100 feet in length. Almost invisible but strong. Used screen door spring on one end to take up slack and allow for slight tower movement. Does kink easily so take care

This Wire is Twisted - NOT Braided !!!
This wire is listed as being braided, and I ordered it because I need a very flexible wire for my application. The wire I received is twisted and is not as flexible as true braided wire.
