Is the bottom of the double grill smooth? I have a smooth glass cooktop

I bought this for my glass cooktop and used medium heat... it raised up across the whole center of the pan. I returned it.

Can this be used on a electric flat top stove?

I don’t see why not. It probably works better on a gas stove because the entire griddle may not make direct contact with the electric coils or glass top electric range, but it should still work.

Has anyone cleaned this griddle in a dishwasher and did it really damage it if you did?

Using a dishwasher will damage it after a few times. It is so easy to clean with a soapy sponge, quick wash and rinse.

Can they be stacked on top of each other easily for storage

They cannot be stacked due to the handles on the sides, and also I do not recommend you this griddle because it bends noticeably with the first use.
