AIO Classics #4: Bible Eyewitness: The Hall of Faith: 12 Stories of the Bible's Greatest Heroes (Adventures in Odyssey Audio)

This was something as a child I looked forward to. I remember tuning to the AM station every night just to hear the show. No matter how bad the reception, if I could listen I did. Now I play them for my autistic 8 year old son. He loves these and asks for his "stories" every time we drive my car. I feel it is an awesome way for my son to learn valuable life lessons and also about Jesus in a way that is easy for his mind to understand. I want him to know how much Jesus loves him and cares for him in an easy way. This worked 100%. I will be trying to collect all of these sets.

I love the stories that AIO puts out! They are alive with meaning, and teach moral and ethical values. Perfect for young and old alike!

This is the fourth collection of Odyssey CD's we've gotten for our family. So far, it has been my least favorite - the family dramas, character development, and stories found on collections with a wider breadth of content held my interest better. But I am the Mom, and the kids LOVE them. They don't care if it is the Producer's Picks, the Silver Collection, the Adventure Begins, or this Bible Collection, I actually had to take the CD's away and keep them in the car for trips only, because the CD's in the house were getting loved to death and were starting to skip. I have 5 kids 1 through 11, and when Odyssey is on, whether on a long car trip or just running errands, the car is typically unearthly quiet while they listen. They ask to sit and listen in the driveway if we get home in the middle of an exciting part of the story.I think one of the things I didn't like about these CD's is that the stories take cultural liberties in order to tell the stories, things kids wouldn't notice or care about, but as an adult and a perfectionist, it bothers me. Where it counts, though, the Biblical truths, they are spot on, and the shows encourage kids to dig into the Bible themselves to read the Rest of the Story or to find out more about what happened. My son often uses his Adventure Bible to do just that.If you are new to Odyssey, I wouldn't buy this CD collection first, but as part of a bigger collection, it isn't a bad addition. Adventures in Odyssey are a great way for your kids to soak up truth in a way that will stick with them and make them think.

Best money spent. Kids love listening to these adventures!!! Looking forward to getting more

My 8 year old son loves these! These cds have helped my son not only look forward to bedtime, but has also allowed him to memorize and learn bible stories in a fun, age appropriate way!

Great product! Unfortunately, Amazon has proven to me that they do not care about their customers. When I had an issue with a different product (Amazon's fault-defective product) I contacted Amazon and they refused to make it right. After I emailed them (seven times!) I never once heard back from them. What a TERRIBLE way to treat your customers!!! Beware! If you can, always try and buy items from the companies who make them directly...DO NOT go through Amazon. They do not deserve the money when they disregard their customers so terribly!

Wonderful! My 6 year old son cannot go to bed without these anymore! Listens to these at bedtime and has learned so much and wakes up in the morning telling me all the things he's learned. Wish there was another set of these

My children love the Bible stories. We listen in the car and it captivates them for a peaceful ride. Greatest thing,, they are learning.

My son loves listening to these stories, spends hours playing lego whilst listening to the cd's. He has learnt so much from them, i was surprised at how captivated he has been by them. They have definitely been a very valuble tool for teaching him the bible. I particulary like these as it it bible stories although the other odyssey series are very good too.

Captivating Bible stories with clear morals and explanations for all ages. I would highly recommend this CD. Fun, interesting, will keep the kids busy.

We typically love Adventures in Odyssey... But have found this one to be very slow paced and hard to listen to. It doesn't hold my kids attention like the many other ones that we have. Disappointing... I wouldn't recommend this one!
