Sinply put, it is a rice cooker. Mine has lasted years of use by now, and still goes strong.

Super small and cute. Workers great when I made brown rice. Perfect size for a small family. Cooked the rice in about 30-45 minutes.Update:The coating/non stick coating came off after one use and I only used the white spoon that came with it.

Worked great for 7 months, then completely stopped cooking rice. I probably only used it approximately two times per month-so a total of 14 times. Considering it is the only function, I would expect it to work longer. Extremely Disappointed.

I had one of these years ago and loved it. I lost it after moving from college and decided to buy another one years later. Best money spent! Rice is perfect and it has freed up my one saucepan that i kept burning rice in. Makes the perfect amount of rice too.

This is probably number 1 kitchen appliance that I use the most often in my kitchen. Easy to use, easy to clean, rice comes out perfect every time! My older model lasted nearly 5 years and it was time for it to retire so I bought this newer model and couldn't be any happier

I love Jasmine or Brown rice and this cooks them both perfectly. I had an expensive rice cooker that always gave me dry less sticky rice. FYI - Use the BROWN RICE setting when cooking Jasmine rice. This rice cooker is just right for a family of four.

I like the older style better but this one works fine

Timer functionality is good.Cooks rice well but not easy to clean.Only the inner containers and the inner lid can be cleaned but the rice gets stuck on the side and also inside. Not easy to clean.
