Not as good as the milk chocolate bar

A colleague brought the milk chocolate bar back from Germany where it is made. I fell in love with this rich smooth taste. Then I ordered this caramel version and it tasted stale. The chocolate wasn't flavorful and the caramel was mediocre. Something must have happen along the way to the States. Not happy about this......wish it was fresh and tasty like the one I had originally....
