It’s exactly what the description says
I’m familiar with all pioneer products, including all HDJs’ series.I know I chose the option (used like new), but I don’t regret that at all. It’s fresh like new, works perfectly good, and the sound is WOW! I know my choices, but if you want my advice, get them while you can and I promise you won’t regret that!Feel so comfortable on the head, cancels every noise around you, and the sound is clear no matter where you hook them and go as loud as you want.

Decent--With Good Audio
I work in the broadcasting industry and therefore, I wear headphones quite often for a living. For me, comfort is almost more important than anything else. Audio quality is up there, too. Durability is also the next item of importance. I think these headphones provide 2 of the 3 of my requirements.Audio quality is better than average, but not in the same league as my Sony Professionals or my Bose cans. There are varying degrees of great audio, and then of course you have the headphones and earbuds that deliver just plain horrible audio...if audio quality were placed in 3 categories, of Superior, Average and Poor, I would place these a half-step above Average. Semi decent highs, so-so lows and okay in the mid-range.Durability seems to be above average too. They call these DJ headphones because each earpiece can be manipulated in different directions in order to cue up the next song (though we don't do that in radio). You'll either like how you can manipulate them or not. Personally I like it.Comfort...for me, this was the one area where the headphones failed. The size and shape of the foam earpieces never seemed to fit properly over my ears, and I don't have odd shaped ears, and never have had this issue with other headphones in the past, so I'm guessing this is just the way they were designed. A good pair of headphones will be comfortable whether they properly isolate your ears or not. I have several different style of them myself and most use memory foam these days, but he Pioneers just sat on my ear uncomfortably and the foam just didn't seem to cut it. After a few minutes, not only did it really begin to bother me, but they began to hurt, too. Now I have several pairs of off-brand Chinese headphones that may not sound as good as these do, but they at least got the comfort right. Not sure who fumbled this one, but in my opinion, boy did they. It's why I brought it up first thing. In my line of work, having to wear headphones for such long periods of time means that comfort ranks #1 in what I look for, and audio comes in second...and no matter HOW good they sound, if they aren't comfortable, you simply won't wear them long and that's a fact. I suppose if you DID you could build up a tolerance and they wouldn't bug you after all of that, but if you need to do that in order to enjoy your headphones, are they really worth it? Food for thought.

BUYER BEWARE: Terrible design/engineering, uncomfortable, not worth consideration
I am a mobile DJ and bought these for work and also just love music which is why I opted for the Bluetooth version. After less than 2 years of light use, one of the hinges broke after putting them on without much stress/pressure on them. If you look at the hinge design, it's pretty fragile.I looked online for a replacement part to fix it and it required buying a new headband assembly which cost more than the headphones so I'm not even gonna bother and chalking this up to a learning experience. I'm staying away from all Pioneer DJ equipment from now on. I already traded my DDJ-100SRT for the Rane Four and am not looking back.Buyer beware! Stick with the Sennheiser HD 25sGood riddance Pioneer Dj/AlphaTheta!
