This thing is solid! No weights needed if you're hitting it with your hands or a self-defense cane. Before you buy, make sure you have space. Base is about four feet by four feet. Assembled stand will NOT fit through a standard doorway in a home. I stow the stand when not using it. It's too heavy to be moved with the bag on it, so I remove the bag first.

If you can’t hang your bag. Or just simply don’t have the proper space. This stand can fit in most corners easily. It holds up to 150lb bag and is sturdy and durable!!!

This stand works well, and was easy to assemble. Assembly time, including cleanup, was around 30 minutes.I would prefer it to be about six inches taller, but it is workable. For reference, I’m 5’11” tall. I’m not using this for knee or foot strikes. For those, it is fine.

I gave it a 5 star rating because it is heavy duty and solid. It is a little tall, but not a big deal for me. I recommend this to anyone who needs a bag holder or doesn't have the ability to hang something pretty heavy from your ceiling. Just make sure you have someone else there to help hold the bag up while you adjust the chain and hang it as it is quite heavy doing it by yourself. All in all, it was easy to construct and quite stout. If your a heavy hitter, you might want some weights on the stand so it doesn't wander on you.

Perfect for my punching bag

After searching for a recreational bag stand for my light home workouts, I was pretty discouraged with how much professional stands cost. So when I found this much cheaper option, I assumed it would be second-rate, but gave it a shot anyway. To my surprise, it is super solid. Once you get the stand weighted down, a 70lb+ bag works really well. I use it 3-4x per week and have for 6 months and am very satisfied with the purchase for light workout purposes.

This stand is easy to assemble, but the bolts cannot be tightened all the way. So, you end up with a stand that is a bit wobbly when you shake it. I have no idea why they have it this way. I fixed the problem by adding extra 10m washers from a hardware store next to each washer that was already included. That way I got a nice tight fit, but still with a tiny bit of give, which I believe is necessary.Stand is sturdy now, and the various parts don't wiggle around when I shake it. I am satisfied with it now.
