This is one of the best things I've bought in a long time
This is one of the best things I've bought in a long time. I wish I discovered this years ago. I use it for my vitamins and supplements. It works like a charm. Note: Sometimes the larger vitamins get stuck coming out. All you have to do is stick your finger up the slot and they come right now. Probably a bigger slot would be better in future designs, but I have no complaints. The compartments are very roomy. I keep 6 quite large vitamins in each one with plenty of room to spare.I mounted mine to the inside of my kitchen cabinet door. Soooo easy!!! LOVE!

Easily jams
Medications easily jam or fall into wrong compartment when sliding down to next row. Very convenient to have 4 weeks of medications set up. My child has ASD and loves anything with mechanics. Loves being part of taking his medication and helped with compliance.

I wish I could give it four stars...but I can't
The concept is great but the follow-through falls a little short. I take A LOT of vitamins and the positive thing is they fit. That's a huge plus. The negative is that they get stuck when you try to travel them from week to week (my weird way of saying getting them to go to the next level when you move the lever). I've screwed up more than once and had to separate my vitamins (not an easy feat) when I did the wrong thing (tried to trick the system, so to speak). When you press a day sometimes the door gets stuck. I also don't like that there is NO AM/PM set up. You could, in a way, do it. But then you only end up with 2 weeks worth of vitamins. I opted to buy a second one which means, overall, I like it.I DO wish, and listen carefully manufacturer, you could open the front rather than having to load a week's worth, move the lever, load the next week's worth, pull the lever, etc... (If you have a secret, please tell me.) Gosh that would make it easier and less wasteful when it comes to time!!!!!Now I looked high and low and and have tried to find something and found this to be the best. Not stupendously great, but the best for me. Nothing was big enough to hold my vitamins (I'm NOT using one for my prescription meds and won't mix the two) except this. I feel they need to go back to the drawing board to do some fine-tuning and give all of us one to test out (or use Vine). JMO. :) Enjoy!

Junk
The pill caddy depends on a series of 7 locking buttons that dispense each daily dose. These are lockable, to prevent inadvertent dispensing. Depending on pill shape, it is necessary to pump the buttons more than once. This is like jiggling an entire snack machine to dislodge your snack that failed to dispense. I can accept this, but wish it were better. In many ways an additional millimeter one way or another would make the pills fall free. The real problem is the slides that are used to allow pills from a row above to fall into the bottom row for the next week. These slides are flimsy. The bottom one on mine was popped off when it arrived. I put it back in and while more loose (flimsy) than the other two, it sort of worked. The first time that I needed to use the slide, it failed. I now have pills that need to be manually sorted because they are trapped in the dispenser. This piece of garbage cost less than t won’t dollars but may mean that I will need to throw away nearly that much money in pills if I cannot identify them all.If you take less that 5-6 pills a day, then go for it. If you actually need a pill dispenser that saves you time and keeps you from making dosing errors, then find a better product.

A serious pill case
I'm really excited about this. I take a lot of medication and I only have the weekly pill cassettes. I hate filling them and when I'm super tired and lay down for bed, if I notice it's completely empty I just skip it and say I'll do it the next day. More than once I skip it the next day too... Medication you're not supposed to skip. So I decided to look for a monthly organizer. They aren't as popular as I thought they'd be. They're kind of expensive and many didn't have big enough slots for all my pills. While considering several, I liked how this looked and I'm very happy. I personally thought it was fairly simple to put together (I just have it on the stand next to my bed) and while filling it is a bit of a process, it's not complicated. It's actually kind of fun and taking pills isn't fun. I saw some reviews about poor quality and I'm not sure how they could improve on it while keeping it functional. It's plastic. Any other material would be impractical. it's substantial plastic too. If you throw it against the wall it's not going to work out. But for what it's intended for I think it's fine. I don't take nearly as many pills in the morning so I only got one for my evening meds. However I'm already considering another for morning meds. I work with disabled; physically and developmentally. Also the elderly. I would highly recommend this as an easy way to keep someone on track taking their pills. The lid that you lift up to fill it doesn't have a lock or anything. It just flips open. If using for a child or disabled etc I would definitely tape it shut. The fact it can be mounted on the wall is a fantastic idea. I'm genuinely grateful for this product and recommend it for anyone who takes medications daily.
