Fit is too tight. Order at least a half size larger.
I've had these about 4 days, so not a long term review.First, I wear a size 9.5 (US). They were way too tight and my toes made contact with the end of the shoe. Returning them and getting a bigger size was no problem. The size 10's are still a bit snug, but fit OK. I had to loosen the elastic straps completely. Would've been nice to try these on in a local store, but these shoes are not widely sold.So far, all is good. I like how the sole grips well and is very non-slip.I would compare them to Keen H20's

Favorite river shoes ever!
I've had Keens and other river shoes, and they always trap rocks which you then try to ineffectually shake out before finally resorting to removing your shoe. This shoe seems to trap fewer rocks, and the heal is more open, which allows them to flush out the back easier.I also like the overall Hoka fit, decent arch support, the cinching system is a bit of a pain if you're taking them on and off a lot, but unlike older Keen's, the strap never loosens.

Awesome comfortable sandal!!!
Great sandal!!! Bought these for my trip to the Lost City Trek in Colombia. We were in the jungle needed a pair of sandals to do river crossings and to walk around camp. I also used them at the eco resort we stayed at before the trek. They are super comfortable and great support like the running shoes. Only thing is they are a little heavy which I was fine with because I didnโt want to sacrifice comfort.

Don't like Hoka anymore. All their shoes come unglued.
Don't like Hoka anymore. All their shoes come unglued at the toe box. I have a bad foot condition so the soles on Hokas shoes are a Godsend. However, I find their quality subpar given their high price. I can't even hike in these shoes. I merely wear them casually to walk the little that I do on grass and the ocassional errand in town. I've had 4 pairs, all of them starting ungluing after roughly 3 months. I even contacted Hoka, but they never responded. Completly upset that I now have to resort to Shoe Goo to fix them. These companies now a days want to charge an arm and a leg for a hip product that is no better quality than most other cheap shoes. The only thing going for them are the cushioned soles.

Good but didnโt last
They were great when I firstGot them. I walk a lot at work. But theyโve worn down to nothing in less than 3 months

Would prefer a step to secure the sandal.
I would the neoprene part of the sandal. Find it may be too warm for summer , considering you have to pull the sandal. A little annoying. But they are very comfortable to walk on. Hopefully the pull on slip off will become easier after a good amount of time wearing them.

Good Shoes. Not available
Good long distance walking shoe. The soles last about 600 miles for serious use. Not tested on difficult terrain. Apparently they aren't readily available.

Very comfortable and keeps my plantar fasciitis at bay
Very comfortable and keeps my plantar fasciitis at bay. Only complaint is that pulling them on is a bit awkward. I think they would have worked better with a velcro connection in back of ankle, or front.
