As a whiskey lover, I can honestly say these Glencairn glasses are essential. They really do make a difference in how you experience whiskey. The shape is just perfect – it lets you really see the color, and the narrow rim concentrates all those amazing aromas. Holding it feels good too, very solid. This set of six is a great value, whether you're building your own collection or looking for a gift for a fellow enthusiast. They're sturdy for a crystal glass, but obviously, treat them with care!

I love to use these glasses to taste better whiskey. The unique shape provides a good nose. The glass is sturdy and has survives multiple drops from counter height. All of my friends who appreciate good whiskey use these when showing off a new find.

Mine arrived in a perfect box, which was important because im going to leave them in it. Will be using these for blind tasting, also got the pipette, small water jug and glass set. Top quality, the only glass set you will need 😎

This is an excellent value for six Glencairn Glasses. The Emblem is etched in the bottom of each of the glasses as seen in the photos attached. These glasses tend to average around $10 a piece and to get them with the gift box is an added bonus making this an exceptional value set. The glasses are of exquisite quality and exactly like what you would expect to be served a proper and appropriate shot of whiskey in at finer establishments.The glasses I received contained no imperfections and the display box was protected very well with a cardboard slip cover and bubble wrap in shipping.I'm extremely happy with this purchase and I challenge anyone on the fence of buying a Glencairn glass to drink your favorite whiskey from, to not hesitate and purchase them. They do exactly what they're intended to do: give you a good look at your whiskey's thickness and quality, provide you a good nose, and make it easy to hold and sip.Just like wine glasses have specific shapes for different blends, this glass encompasses everything you need for literally any type of whiskey you choose to drink. Whether it's Kentucky Whiskey or Bourbon (my personal favorite), Single Malts/Scotches, Irish Whiskey, etc., and you drink your whiskey neat, this is the absolute best way to get the true nature of what your whiskey of choice really smells and tastes like.I drink my bourbon neat and tasted two different whiskey's I had on hand in a standard cocktail glass and then switched to the Glencairn. It was ridiculously better - no comparison whatsoever and totally changed my whole experience. One of the whiskey's I had, I didn't think tasted as good as when I had it at a restaurant that served it in a Glencairn. I had only tasted it in my standard cocktail glass and thought maybe I got a bad batch. The glass made all the difference in the flavor and I will never go back to using a standard glass given the choice. I have been truly educated and enlightened since purchasing these. There's no doubt that conventional "cocktail" glasses are exactly what they are intended for; mixed cocktails. If you're a true whiskey drinker and have an appreciation for differences in quality, you will absolutely never regret purchasing a Glencairn - the only regret would be never experiencing a drink from one!

I bought this for my brother’s Christmas gift. This is a great gift for a whisky or bourbon lover. The box is premium quality and is sexy. This was a great deal on Amazon, and I am very happy with my purchase.

These glasses are great for trying new whiskey's or doing blind tastings, due to their tulip shape I feel they allow for more of the aroma of the flavors to be present when smelling the whiskey, which is why I bought them. Personally I don't love drinking from them, just cause of how you hold them and how far you need to tip your head to sip them. However, I got these for trying whiskeys for the first time and doing blind flights and they work better than any other style glass for that, so since that's why I bought them, 5 stars.Retailer: some glasses came broken, but MetaRetail immediately sent me replacements for them at no cost; very reputable service.

So, I ordered this set of 6 Glencairn glasses. It was labeled as "in stock" and prime eligible. It was scheduled to ship with the rest of my order in one box.Despite this, however, it was delivered a day late separate from the rest of my order which was suspicious.The package didn't appear to be damaged or previously opened in any way. Inside the box was a sealed, white, bubble wrap shipping bag. Inside of that was the Glencairn box in all of it's matte black and copper lettering glory...I notice the box was lighter than expected, but it didn't really sink in until I opened it.Now, these are expensive glasses. I'd imagine that some of the dough put out for these would go into the presentation and, it obviously did. Matte black and copper two tone with copper-foil(ish) inlay script on the top. Hell, the lid almost felt airlocked on. Opening the box felt like cracking the airlock to the ISS or to a previously undiscovered mummy's cursed tomb. I was impressed.That is until the crushing realization that the box was empty. Laid before me, sat 6 velvet lined, evenly spaced, Glencairn shaped, caverns of emptiness. Like 6 little neatly spaced blackholes- sucking all my hopes and dreams from my soul.I was shocked. So I stared at the box for what was only a moment but felt like an eternity, desperately trying to rationalize what I was looking at...a sick joke? Did I miss something? Did I really buy a $50, over engineered, box?Did someone really forget to do the one (simple) thing they're literally paid to do?So anyway, I called up Amazon and they refunded my money. Ill reorder when they're back in stock and hopefully get the box AND the glasses this time. I will say the box is top notch, but without the glasses I must give it a 1 star review. Once this is fully rectified, ill modify my review to reflect my level of satisfaction.
