What has happened to one of my favorite food magazines? Month by month the magazine has become less interesting to me. When the Photography issue arrived, I looked through it and then called to cancel my subscription. Photography issue? Really?

Good Food Good Wine
Purchased subscription on Cyber Monday for $5.00 for my girlfriend who always finds something she likes in every issue. Cannot complain. Just make sure to set a reminder on calendar to cancel subscription or you will be renewed with a new price.

Food and Wine is my go-to
I have subscribed to Food and Wine for about 5 years. I love the emails with curated recipes, and often cook from those. I also have some of their old cookbook collections, which are inspiring. Since the demise of "Gourmet Magazine", Food and Wine has become my go-to for everything from simple family meals to entertaining.

Lots of great and helpful articles
Like the magazine but received several emails about using the digital app that came with the subscription. I get enough ads and junk on my phone as it is now. Would give 5 stars if not for that.

I love F & W, and love the value and reliability of subscribing via Amazon
I've subscribed to Food & Wine for years. However, I've chosen to switch over to Amazon subscription not only because their subscriptions are so affordable, but because I appreciate their renewal practices. Years ago, I learned never to give my credit card number for a magazine renewal because I might be charged an outrageous amount for an auto-renewal. However, Amazon (which of course has my Chase credit card number) warns me at least a month in advance that I'm up for renewal. They also tells me what my renewal price will be, and that price is equal to the current subscription price. So I'm now very happy trusting Amazon for all of my renewals on my favorite magazines at the most favorable price.

Great design, mouthwatering recipes, good (but often pricey) wine suggestions
I'm not a huge fan of magazines but figured I'd subscribe to some to see how they were. Food & Wine has some great stuff, and not as much useless filler as some other magazines. I will probably subscribe again.I really like looking through this magazine. It's one of the ones I actually look forward to getting.Only thing I haven't been thrilled about is the price range of the wines they feature. Some are reasonable but I'm not someone who buys $30+ bottles of wine on a regular basis. It's nice to have those types of recommendations for when I do, but it'd be nice to see more everyday accessible wines.I don't use the electronic access; it was just bundled with the print subscription.

It really should be called Wine and Food, because the main focus is definitely wine. If wine is your thing, this is the magazine to buy!
