LunaJany Women's Floral 1940s Vintage Audrey Hepburn Pleated Cocktail Party Dress

Let me just start off by saying this isn't my first dress of this style, and I realize it's supposed to give the impression of a synched waist. However, I followed the sizing guides exactly like I have on other dresses of this style, and they have always fit fine. I should have realized upon trying the dress that it was tight, but the other ones have been too, so I should just have to suck it in and grin and bear it. However the fabric is so incredibly thin and cheap that as soon as I started zipping it up, it flat out ripped right in the front, almost like it was old fabric that had seen it's end. I was so angry. I will never buy from this company again, and if you aren't a size 4, I suggest you do the same. It's supposed to be lightweight, but it's not supposed to be so cheap it tears at the first sign of resistance.

This dress was perfect for my work Christmas party with a red cardigan. I'm usually a m/l but since I knew this was coming from China I ordered an extra large. It fit perfectly! I'm 5'4 160lbs 36C.

This was my first online dress purchase ever and I was nervous! I got my measurements ahead of time which helped. This dress came in a small package, folded up pretty small. Because of this, it was very wrinkled at first. I do not own an ironing board, but my mom does. I will post pictures of it after being ironed at a later date. Also, I did feel it needed some small alterations. There is some fabric folds on the front that flip out kinda funny like. I’m hoping the ironing will also help this, but I’m gonna try and put a dart or something to help keep it staying in place. I was most impressed with the fabric quality and fit of the dress. It does have some give in the fabric but i would highly recommend knowing your proper measurements ahead of time. Initial pictures are of the first try-on out of the package, as well as what those fabric folds look like when folded out all funny like). I am normally a size 16-18 women’s, with 40 inch bust, 36 inch waist, and 46 inch hips approximately and I had a little room to spare in this dress.

Loved it, I got so many compliments!! a little cheap of fabric but for the price it was worth it. Just remember order a size up because of the Asian sizing.

I wanted a dress that would be cute, fit the era I was going for, not cost a lot of money, and cool enough for hot, humid days at Walt Disney World. This dress was perfect. That said, I did end up ordering THREE different sizes to get the right fit. I am a solid size 12. I ordered the XXL, the XL, and the Large. I ended up keeping the Large, but could have likely worn a Medium as the chest area was a bit loose (I usually wear a size Large/XL for tops). The sides of the chest area had a bit of a gap, so I ended up pinning them in place to my bra. I will likely have it tailored to fit better, as I truly loved the dress. It is cotton, so I'm having it dry-cleaned to avoid the wrinkled mess that would ensue if I tried to wash this normally. I wore a black petticoat underneath to give it some fullness.

I LOVED the design of this dress, and I really wanted to keep it. HOWEVER, even though I used the size chart provided by the seller, the sizing was off around the chest. I purchased a XXL because I'm a size 14, and it could barely cover the bottom portion of my chest, much less get the dress to contain my chest. Even the arm holes were way too snug. The sizing chart definitely needs to include measurements to assist costumers in receiving the proper size.

I got this for an ugly sweater party and it definitely did what it needed to--be holiday-themed and kinda awful. I did have to iron before I wore it because the fabric wrinkles very easily. I am a 34C bra size and had trouble with the top gaping--it was designed for at least one cup size larger, if not two. The waist and length were just fine.

For the snowy village green dress - Ordered a medium and a large, just to see which fit best. Not much give in fabric - went with large (5/9, 32" waist). Unfortunately, the trim around bust is uneven and the dress does not have a waist as shown - it is a tiny empire below the bust that is at least a couple inches about natural waist. Returning both.
