Beer Tower Cooler

I was skeptical about the claims at first that cooling the tower would help the foam on the first couple pours - I was happily mistaken. It works. You can feel the difference in the temp of the tower and the pours are better. One thing I marked them down on was the amount of noise the fan makes. Also, when I plugged the AC/DC converter into the same duplex plug as my garage radio I received static. I think either the motor is noisy (electrically) or the AC/DC converter is noisy. I ran an extension cord from another outlet & it seemed to solve the radio noise. I am happy, nice product, hopefully in the future the motor/ACDC issue will get worked out.

This definitely cools my tower down a bit (based on feeling the tower with my hand), but I still get foaming. It could be partially the fault of my system as I have a triple faucet tower and, therefore, the tubing might reduce the amount of room for air to circulate (With the addition of the tube on this thing, it is a little crowded).

I am using this on my nostalgia kegerator. I was getting very foamy pours and did some research to trouble shoot the issue. Amongst other things I tried this beer tower cooler and this made the biggest difference. I tried adjusting temperature, pouring technique, checking hose routing and position and CO2 pressure. It makes sense when you think about it because hot air rises and the tower is not cooled or insulated so the tower is warming the first beer which causes the foam. Although it's over priced it solved the biggest issue I had.

I used this product to cool the double tab tower of a kegerator I bought from costco. The product works, however I have the following complaints. The fan on this product is loud, to a point that it bothers you when you are hanging out at the bar within 20 feet of the kegerator. The flexible clear tubing is too wide, barely fits into the tower with two other supply lines. The power cord is too short and does not reach the outlet located on the wall without an extension cord. The power cord does not have a switch. I will be returning this product.

After 6 months of intermittent usage, the fan sounds like it is dying, and it probably is because the tower is not cold. Its barely cool to the touch after operating overnight, but not nearly as cold as it needs to be to ensure the tap lines in the tower are chilled like the kegs are. Look elsewhere, Ebay maybe, or make it yourself. Better yet, don't get a kegerator with an air-cooled tower in it. If you must get one, contact me and I'll sell mine to you :)

It definitely works. The power cord is shorter than I would like though and the fan is pretty loud. But it certainly cools the tower as promised.

I use this on my wine tower and it works great. It is a little loud but I got used to it.

I tried this for a couple of days and it did not move enough air to keep my shanks cold. I have a home made box that is working much better and reverted to that. Would not buy again
