I'm a 60 year old aiming for optimal physical and mental function in the decades to come. Pycnogenol is one flavonoid I want on my stack of nutrients to support this great effort. After reading The Antioxidant Miracle several years ago, I began dabbling in the wonderful world of antioxidants to help reverse aging. I'm counting on the 40-some flavonoids contained in Pycnogenol to improve my microcirculation, recycle my other antioxidants, control nitric oxide, protect against platelet aggregation, and promote healthy cell membranes; all things that might not be readily apparent. If my skin ends up looking younger and my memory improves, I'll be even more thrilled! I've noticed many small health improvements since I started the Doublewood Pycnogenol.

I wasn't really sure why I needed this, but Pine Essential Oil kept coming up on my scan. I've been battling Tinnitus for a several months, to the point where I couldn't sleep and some occasional vertigo. This is a convenient way to take this extract with my other supplements. I've noticed that the tinnitus isn't as loud, so I'm getting some relief. I also haven't had any vertigo since I began taking it. Maybe it will work for others, I can't say for sure, but it's helped me and I'm really thankful!

I heard about Pycnogenol in an article in 'The Bottom Line', a bi-monthly magazine. It said that if you were planning a lengthily trip in a car or plane and worried about leg and ankle swelling this product would aid in preventing this. Since I was leaving for a 3 day trip by car which had in the past year caused swelling in my legs, I ordered the Pycnogenol and took it as directed. When I arrived at my destination I experienced NO swelling or problems at all. I have continued to take Pycongenol as directed. On my return trip home I, once again, had no problem with leg or ankle swelling. As far as I am concerned it works.

I took one pill per day w/ reservatrol (I'd read they were synergistic) and experienced a noticeable lift in energy and libido. Overall my mood has improved and while I'm not certain it's related, I've been getting compliments about my skin lately when I never had before. Very satisfied.I want to note that I previously tried regular pine bark extract and did not notice these benefits.Capsule size was very small which is nice too. Definitely recommend!

I'm so happy I took a shot and bought this product. I researched it for a while looking for something to help my migraines. While it did help with things like mental clarity, and has antinflamitory properties, it helped reduced my migraines and headaches within the last week. I will continue using this product as long as it keeps working for me.
