I WAS TAKEN FOR A MUG !
the most beautiful teapot, sturdy and so easy to hold. perfect for 4 nice cuppas. i chose the olive green and i was not disappointed with the colour. perfect pouring action too, no mess .however,i understood that this teapot was suitable for tea leaves. unfortunately, i do not agree. when i wet my twinings tea and let is sit for a few minutes i began to pour , very sadly, and surprisingly, i saw lots of tea leaves pouring into my cup. oh dear,oh dear, what an awful letdown, ruined my tea drinking. tried it several times with the exact same results, a cup full of tea leaves. nothing puts me off my cuppa more !!.in my opinion, this beautiful teapot is suitable ONLY for tea bags. i feel that i have been taken for a mug !.

Just my cup of tea?
Perfect and cute for small company or one use of cups. No for big big tea lovers who prefer 2 mugs per pot about 6 times a day. Always double check and read the holding contents, it’s for cups of teas not mugs of teas.

No Drips when pouring, perfect.
This teapot is great as it has a strainer at the neck so the teabag does not get stuck in the neck, no drips when pouring tea into cup or mug, we have large mugs and get 2 mugs full of tea with enough left to fill a cup, Perfect.I wish I had bought this teapot instead of our previous teapot that was cheaper but not worth the £10 we paid for it as it dripped, stuck in spout tea bags and arrived with the wrong size lid.

Smashing real teapot
Usually buy a french make but last few have easily chipped at spout so thought I'd try a different make. Glad I did. This one is smashing for a real pot o' tea. Pours easily, lifts ok, sometimes handle gets a wee bit hot but I just use a damp cloth. Think I would buy this again in another colour although the cream one matches my kitchen perfectly. Bought this at a very keen price. Like it.

Drip-free and stylish
What a bargain this was! We bought one of these teapots six years ago, having searched for a drip-free one. We were delighted with it - it's stylish, easy to handle and brews an excellent cuppa.Unfortunately, the lid somehow became stuck, and when I tried to lever it off the pot broke.I went to order a new one and found that the price had increased considerably. However, Amazon were offering an "as new" one st s £15 discount!I ordered it, as I've learned to trust Amazon implicitly as a vendor, and it was delivered within 24 hours. The pot was still sealed in its box, and apparently discounted by 60% because the box had a small hole in it which had been patched with a strip of tape! The teapot is perfect and we're looking forward to years of service from it.

Difficult to get the lid off and on
I bought this because my wife needed a new 1-person teapot, and this seemed to fit the bill perfectly. It arrived quickly, holds a little more than her previous teapot and the handle is a good size. There is a lip on the leading edge of the lid which fits under the leading edge of the teapot opening. it is very difficult to get the positioning of this "lip" just right so as to get the lid off or on the pot. Perhaps this is due to expansion when the pot & lid are hot, or perhaps I just got one where the tolerances of these parts are too fine. Also the round "pebble-shaped" handle on the lid is too small to grip securely. These two elements combined increase the likelihood of either dropping the lid and/or spilling hot liquid out of the teapot. For this reason I returned this item (Amazon's returns procedure, as always, was problem-free) and I can't recommend it - ymmv.

Large enough for a good size tea party.
Got this for a fund raising tea party. It holds easily enough tea for 10 cups and that volume of tea ensures that it will keep tea hot for a good 15 minutes while you pour. Not sure about the need to clean a tea pot unless you are going to put it into storage or serve flavoured teas.It is heavy when full, holds nearly 3 litres of fluid which weighs in at 3 kg, plus the weight of the ceramic pot. Also tricky to find a large enough tea cosy, although at the time the tea wasn't in the pot long enough for this to be a problem.Obviously a large kettle is also required to make 3 litres of boiling water, we were using a 20 litre hot water urn.

Easy to pick up with hot water in it. The handle is sturdy.
I would usually make my tea in a mug, but I remember when I was a child and my grandma and great aunt would brew up tea in a tea pot. I found it tastes better when brewed this was. Perhaps I'm harking back to happy nostalgic moments in my childhood, though even if that is what I'm doing, it makes me happy and that's what's important. I was happy to find it was easy to pick up when it had hot water in it.and that the handle is sturdy. I was worried it wouldn't be, but it was. I haven't filled it to the top yet. I usually just brew two mugs, though there is still more capacity for more.
