I got rid off of my radio alarm clock because it was bulky and I was really only using it to look at the time since I use my phone to listen to the radio and as an alarm. But I didn't like that I had to get my phone to look at the time when I wake up in the middle of the night (which I do every night). So, I was looking for a small nightstand clock that would be quiet and that was not too bright, but that I could still read in the middle of the night. I'm impressed with this cube. First, it's a minimalist's dream come true: the cube is very cute, inconspicuous and would go well with any decor (I ordered the black cube). Second, not only does it show the time, but also the date and the temperature in carousel mode, but you can also choose to just have it show the time. Finally, the best part IMO is that you can set it up to be in energy saving mode and the time will only show when you touch the top of the cube or make a noise (like a clap, or verbal cue). The only thing I disliked was that even in the lowest setting the lights are still quite bright. But this can be solved by using the energy saving mode, which will turns the lights off about 10-20 seconds after you prompted the clock (by touching or through a noise cue) to show you the time. I don't use it as an alarm, so I haven't even tried the alarm settings (it doesn't have a snooze button, but you can set up 3 separate alarms to go off at any interval you wish). I really like this little cube. It fits my needs.

Just got this clock, but so far everything is working great. The power cable is nice and snug in the port and changing settings is really simple. The brightness I think could go lower, but it has the energy saver feature which shuts off the screen after a short time and it can easily be turned onto its face if it's to bright at night. For those that are wondering, the batteries are NOT meant to be used as the main power source. I recommend reading ALL of the manual. It lays out everything for you.

Since our converter boxes no longer have clocks, we needed something to fill that void. Upside it is small and easy to read from a distance. The other positive I was able to utilize the USB on the converter to power the unit. Downside, what a pain to set up. The instructions need a magnifier to read! Do use AAA batteries as a backup in the event of a power loss. Otherwise you’ll be swearing up a storm resetting this little beast.

We have a black entertainment center and wanted a clock that didn't stand out like a sore thumb. This little black cube seemed like the perfect choice and turns out, it most definitely was! The brightness is just right. We can easily see it at night, but it's not distractingly bright. The best part is that since both the shelf and the clock are black, it looks like the time display is literally floating. It's so cool! Purchased this about 6 months ago and it's still going strong. Yes, the directions are not the greatest and it's kind of hard to see the front of the clock while you're trying to work the buttons to set the time. However, neither one of these things takes away from the fact that this little cube clock is awesome! I love it, I would recommend it and I would buy it again!

I needed something small to put on a shelf next to my speaker and this clock works. It's small but the numbers are clear. The clock is very bright even at its lowest setting. This is fine for the day but looks really bright at night. Set up was easy with instructions but caused mild irritation when pressing wrong buttons like the reset button that looks exactly like the other buttons. The beeping when you press the buttons is also obnoxiously loud but that wont be an ongoing problem unless you use the alarm. Overall, the clock sits there and tells time, I dont need anything else.

Not all that easy to set up... lowest brightness setting is very bright. Looks great, works well, so no big complaints. Really needs to be run from USB cable since batteries are used up quickly, but at least it has batteries for power outages, a big plus. I have not used the alarms and I have the multi-display on all the time. I keep it on the lowest intensity light setting and even that is too bright for me.Two layers of blue painters tape take the brightness down to a good level.

It's very minimalist it's nice and small it will go under anything I have it on my computer desk just snap your fingers or make a loud noise it will activate Tell you the time it has an alarm clock pretty loud The only one one little problem it sucks up the batteries like a drunk in the bar Good thing it comes with a plug That's how I use it I plugged it in back on my computer
