Very useful
It worked wonderfully for my trip to Argentina. But follow the instructions carefully and don’t use it with a hair straightening iron! I had to buy a new one. It did work with the hai dryer brush although the potency was not 100% it did the trick. For the rest of the appliances it was great.

Reliable and Efficient
The media could not be loaded. I'm a frequent traveler, so I'm always on the lookout for travel accessories that can make my life easier. When I saw this Travel Adapter and Converter Combo, I knew I needed to try it!I've been using it for a few weeks now, and so far so good. It's small and lightweight, so it's easy to pack in my carry-on luggage. It's also compatible with a wide range of appliances, including hair dryers, steam irons, laptops, MacBooks, and cell phones.I've used it in a variety of countries, including the UK, Europe, and Australia, and it has worked perfectly every time. It is also very easy to use. I simply plug my device into the adapter and then plug the adapter into the wall outlet. The adapter automatically converts the voltage to the correct setting for my device. That's it!Overall, I would recommend this 2000 Watts Travel Adapter and Converter Combo to any frequent traveler. It's a great way to ensure that you can use your appliances safely and easily in any country you visit.

The converter mode doesn’t work and make noises
The adapter mode worked really well, the problem is with the converter mode. I have a 110v hairdryer and I came to Brazil where the power is 220v. When I connected the converter and plugged in my hairdryer, it started making a noise from the adapter and the power in the house started flickering. I researched and read the reviews before plugging it in, but I didn't see anyone having this issue so I went ahead and turned on the hairdryer, and guess what? It didn't work. I believe it was converting to less than 110v.So, I grabbed a computer battery backup and then it worked. This product ended up only serving me as an adapter after all.

Great for International Travel!
I bought this adapter for our trip to Vietnam, and it worked really well. It’s great for converting 220V to 110V. The adapter mode was handy for charging cell phones and laptops. The only downside is that it’s a bit bulky, but overall, it did the job and kept our devices safe. Highly recommend it for international travel!

Works great
I bought this for my trip to the UK from the US. It worked great and I like that it has multiple adapters for different countries. It’s not too large so I could easily make room in my suitcase for it. I used it for my hair tools and chargers and I have no complaints.

It works but…
This is a difficult one for me because the product does what I got it to do but, as you hopefully can see by the pictures, has some design flaws. I think these flaws may be limiting enough to make it not deserving of 4 stars but it does do what I got it for so I am mostly satisfied. The adapter - UK plug, NZ/Aus plug, Europe plug etc work for any device. This should be a device where the voltage doesn’t matter. Many computers phones etc work on 110 and 220 volts so it is fine for those. Now the limitations - this is for electric items, not electronics. What is the difference you say - good question kind of explained in the instructions. As far as I can tell if you device converts the electrical energy into some other kind of energy (eg a hair dryer which converts the electricity to heat and motion). Electronic devices may be producing heat (eg your hair straightener). But if they have other features such as LCD display, thermostat etc (like most straighteners these days) it is electronic and this converter will not work and may damage your item. The instructions specifically warn not to use the step down converter for Dyson products and straighteners and the step down converter won’t work for computers, phones etc (most of these are dual voltage these days so you can use it as an adapter)Fortunately for me I got it to run a small electric heat gun not an $800 Dyson hair dryer - so for my needs it is fit for purpose- just. The design- the problem I am facing is the large surface area of the plug face. My house has mostly dual plugs and I can’t plug it in if there is another device in the other socket. The face of the plug also covers the on off switch in the socket so I can’t push it in all the way - this means in a wall socket it will hang and potentially drop out. We have a lot of UK socket devices in our house from living overseas - I tried it in one of our UK multi boards - same issue. These are on the floor so there is less risk of gravity pulling it out of the socket but if it were knocked it may disconnect. The way to get around this - use a plug converter which steps the plug out of the wall - if you are just using this as an adapter - I don’t think it is worth getting. You are going to have hours of fun finding sockets where you can’t use it due to switch location of adjacent sockets or you are going to have to use another converter to step it out from the wall - which you might as well use instead of this device. If you want it as a converter - make sure it is suitable for your device! If you want it as an adapter only - there are better solutions on the market.

So versatile and not confusing!
Just got back from Iceland and this converter/adapter worked great and came in very handy. I found all of this converter-adapter subject confusing when I was researching these so, I'm going to make this review descriptive, but simplified in language. I found that some of these devices are just an adapter, (from one shape of outlet prongs to another country's shaped outlet prongs), or just a converter (for the wattage). This device has both. For my US blow dryer, which uses a different wattage than Iceland, I flipped out the correct adapter(prongs) on the device for the Iceland outlet, plugged the device into their socket, turned the device switch to "converter" and then plugged my blow dryer into the device. Cell phones don't need a different wattage, so I could use this device just as an adapter, (prong shape), for my cell phone charger. I flipped out the correct Iceland prong adapter, left the wattage "converter" switch flipped off, and plugged my cell phone charger directly into the device. Of course it has adapters for other countries outlets also. It was very convenient, as I didn't have to take multiple devices on my trip. Great purchase!
