I have set of these and this is a replacement for my 0.5 that I lost. These are a great day to day mechanical pencil that hides the pencil tip with a twist of the barrel that locks on place

Wobble stick
I wouldn't use this for any sort of drafting. The tip, barrel, grip, and mechanism are all separate pieces, meaning no matter which part you hold, the tip will wobble, and a lot. It's a cool and unique mechanism to hide the lead sleeve but not very practical. I recommend a Graphgear 1000 if you really need a mechanical pencil with a retractable tip. Also the upper barrel is plastic
