Pioneer TS-WX400DA 10” Slim Subwoofer – 250W Max, Built-in Amp for Easy Bass Upgrade, Enclosure Included, Amp Included, High-Level Input, Works with Most Factory or aftermarket radios

The subwoofer is compact but for my purposes has surprisingly good bass. I keep it powered to a middle setting and it is loud enough for me. The unit was small enough to fit under the driver’s seat of my car and the supplied cables were able to reach the head unit. Installing the powered subwoofer was easy but required me to remove the seat and cut two small holes in the carpet to mount the mounting bracket with the threaded posts to hold the subwoofer down. The main power wire is thin but I believe adequate for the power needs of the amp without issues. There is no hum or ground loop that I can hear. Also I do not hear any rattling of the subwoofer due to the way it was mounted. I would imagine a 10” subwoofer would be far louder but that was not what I was looking for. I am pleased with this purchase and I have had zero issues with it since it was installed several months ago.

Very small, and impressively integrates itself with the music. No booming bloated bass. Power is adequate for my application. No window-rattling bass here, you shouldn't expect it from only 8". Not really a fan of BIG remote but at least it looks nice. I'm impressed and satisfied, especially for the price.If you're using speaker level input, you have to CUT the included cable end and split into + and - to connect the speaker input. Took me a few minutes to understand 1 sheet graphics based manual, but once I did, it all made sense.

Installing was super easy with some tutorials online, sound is perfect for me. Loud enough to enjoy my music on the highway with my windows open! Not obnoxiously loud but just right to supplement my 4.5" door speakers. Plus, you don't need a separate amp! Fits right under my passenger seat!

Buyer beware, this unit does not work with your radio when using volume controls. You have to control it via a separate volume knob...if you turn your radio down the bass will still play at original volume until you turn it down on the included remote. This is a very low quality solution, spend your money on better underseat subs. Pioneer isn't a serious company making a product this bad with today's technology.

Sounds good. Easy install. Compact with good power. Would like to have more options for mounting, butt overall, would recommend

Dang this subwoofer hits hard! For real. I wasn't expecting a lot, but this thing will shake your rear view mirror easily. The bass is clear, but can distortion at higher gain levels when using the remote. Gain isn't a volume knob! Keep it reasonable and it will sound great. I like the look too. I have mine on it's back, firing up... I think it sounds better and doesn't shake and rattle as much.

Purchased for my Polaris ranger. Multiple mounting options, I installed under the dash behind the radio and switches. Sound is great, just what the Ranger needed, the 6.5inch dash speakers could not produce enough base, this little guy did the trick. Rich sound without distortion, powerful enough for the open space of a Side by Side.

You will need to be aware of what fuse is accessory power, what cable on your head unit is power on, and where to groundInstalled in my beater buick century. I had previously installed a new head unit and updated speakers. No separate amplifier, as I picked speakers that were within power handling ranges that made sense with the HU (JVC KW-56 BT, baseline 5 1/2 infinity front, and... JBL 6x9s).Wanted a little more oomph, did not want a ton. Did not want to deal with running power to battery or pay someone to do it.This subwoofer has a low power draw of under 5 amps, and the instructions (and confirmed by crutchfield) note to fuse tap. I had no idea anything out there was made for this. It's small compared to the underseat options, but i took a chance.Honestly i'm pretty well blown away by how much it adds to the sound. It's very much a sound quality addition to your car. I mounted under the dash, inbetween the passenger and driver footwells. With the crossover set to approx. 90hz, and the gain set to approximately 2'oclock, its fantastic. Classic 90s hip hop, thrash metal, metalcore, EDM... it all sounds really, really good. I've had full systems with multiple amps before and pretty discerning ear for car audio.I can't speak for how good this would sound mounted under your seat. But pretty confident that if you put this in a car with the same goal I had, to get more sound quality on the bass and hear the lower ranges, And mount it in the passenger footwell or similar area...you're going to be very happy with this. Yes, 200 dollars is a lot of money for something this small. but the sound quality will absolutely surprise you.
