Meh. Did not work as good as expected.
Could not get it to work with my Arduino very well. I get data but it is not consistent. I cannot give it a good review as I purchased another RFID reader that works perfectly and could not give it a bad review because it does sent data.

Cheap and useful
I bought this for I proyect I was making with the raspberry pi 2, it works really nice, the only downside is that you have to put the card really close to the reader for it to read it (distance<=4cm)

Solid Product
Worked exactly as advertised. Reads RFID tags for about 3-4 cm and is easily attached to an Arduino or other microcontrollers. Very small and easily fits into any project. Documentation can be easily found online when searching for "rdm630 datasheet" or similar.

Works well. Kinda a pain that the antenna is so fragile, but wrapping it in gaffer tape made it more stout and doesn't effect reading.

It works
It is a nice product and it works. in fact it works very well... But it is not perfect - Vcc at 3-pin connector (P3 pin2) for LED output is not really a Vcc (but it can be connected to Vcc, does not hurt anything). Not sure at the moment what it is but unit does not work as expected. Certainly you cannot power the module from this pin. Use Vcc at the P1 connector (with Tx/Rx). Other than that everything seem to be fine.Personally I would like to see more compact PCB, 75% of surface on this product is wasted. why not make one that is 1/3 size?And it would also be nice to have a choice of different size antenna.... The larger the antenna - the longer sensing distance but it is not one size fits all. Current antenna is ok for access entry application where longer sensing distance is needed. For me a more compact antenna would work (ring form 18mm diameter or so).EDIT - this was bugging me so i took a closer look at that supposed Vcc at P3 pin 2. There is just a 1k resistor that connects to P3 pin 3 (LED).
