An intriguing and quick read by a Master Storyteller
I had wanted to read this book, ever since the Art Bell interviews with Father Malachi Martin, years ago on the "Coast to Coast" radio program. I was not disappointed. It is a real page turner, what the good Father calls his work of "historical faction." Reportedly about 90% actual events, only the names have been changed to protect the guilty. This is a must have book for anyone concerned with the path that the Roman Catholic church has taken since Vatican II. It gives a revealing look behind the scenes, at all the movers and shakers who set up the mechanism to steal the church away from the power of the Popes. You will want to keep a pen and paper handy to track the principal players on both sides.

Fr Martin was a prophet
The first 250 pages sets the stage and develops the characters. No real names but we all know who Fr Martin talking about especially if you are a practicing Catholic who has witness the progression (or more appropriately regression) of the Church since the early 70s with Vatican II, the Novus Ordo and the persecution of traditional Catholics especially the TLM. The book might officially a novel but it’s more like historical fiction. The Abp of Centurycity? We know who he’s talking about. After the first few hundred pages I couldn’t put the book down. Riveting. St Pius X correctly called Modernism the synthesis of all heresies. So yes. Fr Martin wrote this book in the 1990s but he’s really talking about 2024.Satan never sleeps.5 stars!

Well written faction by a Vatican insider
Great story, wonderfully told by Fr. Martin, a misunderstood and often maligned, Vatican insider who spilled the beans on many tragedies in the Roman Catholic church. A great read for our current times under the current Pontificate of Jorge Bergoglio.

Brilliant!
As usual, Fr. Malachi Martin's work is brilliantly written. Although Windswept House leaves a little something to be desired in terms of plot (I am not a fan of indeterminate endings), the journey from beginning to end remains fascinating and interesting. Basically, this novel presents the same material found in Fr. Martin's non-fiction: His lament that both the world and the Church remain blissfully unaware of the extent to which Satan and his cohorts are prowling the earth. He views the Roman Church as being a particular target because of its potential for a strong, unified defense against evil. And he chides the Bishop of Rome, as well as Bishops everywhere, for abdicating their responsibilities in this regard. The beginning of the novel is perhaps unnecessarily graphic and disgusting; but if the Reader can stick with it, the author succeeds admirably in making his point throughout the rest of this work. Highly Recommended.

A white-washed sepulcher with dead men's bones on the inside
This was Fr. Martin's last book. It's written in a style called, faction (like Norman Maeler)...the truth written in a fiction format. In other words, all the facts are there but the names are change to protect the innocent, if there are any. The first hundred pages will knock you for a loop...it totally boggles the mind. It starts with Pius XII and his prediction of the New World Order, i.e. the European Economic Union and how they plan to literally change the face of the real world and create a satanic one using the Catholic Church as its catalist. Yes, it reads like a supernatural thriller, which it realy is. People are bought and sold, bishops and priest are murdered, the Catholic Church ends up being just a white-washed sepulcher with dead men's bones on the inside and the faith is left in the care of a few loyal faithful...God always saves a remnant. So, if you are willing to look at what's happening in the real world and our Holy Catholic Church, read the book or at least the first hundred pages. If not...no biggie, just continue on in your ignorance for it will be your only bliss until our Lord stept out of the portals of Glory and says, "Enough!" Blessings.

On page 211 and it's a page turner for sure!
This is a great book even if you are not fully educated on Catholic doctrine. Very foretelling of the times we are living in. Malachi martin is an incredible man of God and has opened a window in to a very dark element that has overtaken the church and world.Quite Frankly sent me! Be sure to find his book club with Timothy Gordon reviewing this book on Dlive.
