these filters are wonderful, we used the black berkey filters before with the pf-2 and the problem with the pf-2 is that they take too much room inside the water reservoir reducing the holding capacity of our berkey so we decided to try these to see the difference, and we are very happy that we can fill the top reservoir with our .5 micron filtered tap water and have a full gallon of drinking water in less than one hour, my advice is to filter the water that comes into your home with a whole house water filter to extend the life of your propur g2.0 filters, I still have my bekey black filters and will be using them for a home made water system so that our chickens can have clean drinking water, try these and you'll be happy but don't forget to throw out the first three batches of water at least cause the water will be bitter at first I drank some and it was nasty, but gradually the bitterness goes away and you get some sweet tasting water, most importantly you will be able to fill your lower reservoir and use it's full capacity so you don't run out often.

Pretty solid product.Haven’t used them for long but, so far the experience is amazing.Initially, they took a bit to filter out the water. Somewhere about an hour per gallon. But now, after about 30 gallons filtered, you can expect about 20-30 minutes per gallon.These filters are a lifesaver. A little bit expensive, but well-worth it. Water tastes great and will save you tons of money.*Just be careful when you handle them. While they are sturdy, my wife dropped the gravity canister these were placed in and they cracked open, spilling little black stones. Obviously, it was an accident, but just be mindful of this when traveling with them.

Awesome! I uploaded a photo of my filters after 7 months of filtering my city water. I live in Sacramento California which has "good" water. I gave a friend a glass of water filtered by propur and a glass of store bought bottled water. She chose the Propur water saying it was smoother and fresher tasting. I agree it tastes better and makes the water smoother, kind of a silky-smooth taste. Loove these filters!

I have been using these filters for roughly 10 years now and will probably use them for the rest of my life. The filters work phenomenally, the taste it great, and they are easy to clean.

Well i bought these filters and installed them. They initally left a slightly black sediment at the bottom of the filtered water side containment. I flushed that down the drain as well as the 2nd round of the initial use. After that the water tasted great and I was very excited to not need to purchase any bottled water. However just a few days later my wife mentioned a metallic taste to the water. I initially thought it was the storage container we are using but it was coming directly out of the filters. Going to see if they can be refunded or replaced with a new set and hope that i have better luck. I have no idea why the taste has changed.

I like this filter because it has colloidal silver in the ceramics and has carbon beads inside. It beats the others in total filter action of bad water!

Install easily and definitely better than having a filter in your reservoir. After a week I tested my water, exact same readings that I got with the Berkey filters. The only complaint I had was it took a lot more cycles of water to clean up the taste of the water as opposed to my Berkey filters. I still don't think the water tastes quite as good as the water from the Berkey filters did, but that could just be in my head. It still tastes fresh and clean and the ease of install and maintenance is well worth it. I will continue buying these for my canister.

I love these gravity filters. I own the King which was the largest size they had when I first purchased it. I decided to buy one after we got hit with hurricane Dolly and were left without power or water for days. Now I feel better prepared and we use this filter daily and it works great.Another thing, today I called their customer support because I had misplaced one of the plugs when I moved. They are mailing me one today for free. Their customer service has been top notch.
