My Primary Knife
I just got into the culinary world and bought myself this knife as a lavish workhorse. I don’t work on the line, mostly doing prep work. But this knife is putting up with daily abuse and has kept its edge since I got it. (3-4 Weeks) it’s beautiful to look at and cuts like nothing. It’s now my go to for tomatoes cause it’s just so sharp. Mine was perfectly crafted, and super easy to hold. It’s super comfortable and safe to choke up on. The only problem I had was that the coating on the wood handle wears off early on and the wood doesn’t hold that beautiful varnish it has when it comes out of the box. But that’s nothing a little EVO can’t fix.I will be using this knife every (work) day and will update my review if there’s any issues!

My favorite knife!
I'm not prone towards hyperbole, but every once in a while something comes into your life that goes above and beyond what's promised and becomes a prized possession. My new Haggel knife is such an item. I feel bad for my Global brand and Japanese samurai-quality sashimi knives I picked up at the Tsukiji fish market because they are being neglected in favor of my new best friend. As a retired chef, cookbook author, and culinary nerd, I pride myself on using the best tools in the kitchen. The Haggel belongs up there with my Vitamix, Breville toaster oven, and my wife, who is relegated to dish duty. For those looking for a versatile knife that fillets like a sashimi knife, but can cut through veggies and tougher meats, look no further than Haggel.

Very sharp
This knife was a gift for my husband. It’s incredibly sharp, and he loves that. But the bottom edge has no protection and he’s cut himself twice while using it. You definitely need to go slow and give your full attention when using this knife.

Habiendo tenido muchos cuchillos de alta calidad, debo decir que este cuchillo está bien diseñado y de peso perfecto. Preparé toda mi comida de carne asada desde las verduras hasta el filete marinado. Fue increíblemente afilado y fácil de usar. Más allá de su utilidad, es una hermosa pieza, el mango de acero martillado y el mango de palo de rosa lo convierten en una pieza de conversación. ¡No puedo esperar para regalar uno a mi mejor amiga!

High quality chefs knife
This knife is great value for the money. It is a higher end brand but that relates to the higher quality of craftsmanship and steel. It’s nice it’s an excellent addition to any chef knife collection.

Beautiful & functional
Absolutely gorgeous knife, and scalpel sharp. The packaging is pretty awesome as well. This was a gift, and the giftee says he doesn't know if he wants to use it or display it with other knives in his collection. I had my reservations about the price, but I'm glad I went through with it. This one is a real showpiece.

Beautiful to look at AND versatile to use!
If you were to have one knife in the kitchen this is it! This 8" Chef's Knife not only looks like a work of art, with it's beautifully crafted Damascus steel and Rosewood handle, but it performs like a dream. Perfectly balanced and razor sharp it handles all my chopping, slicing and dicing needs.
